  1. Hello all, My current set-up: Windows 8 - 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 ivy bridge HDD: 125GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD (boot-up installed here) and 1TB HDD Motherboard: GA-Z77-D3H RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 PSU: Coolermaster VS-Series 550W Semi Modular 80+ Gold Power Supply CASE: NZXT Phantom 410 I installed a new PSU and GPU into my rig today. Everything went smooth (as far as I'm concerned) and everything that needed to be plugged in was plugged in (again, as far as I know). Once I excitedly booted up the computer, the motherboard screen popped up as usually. Usually this disappears within a second or two and the computer boots up in no time (roughly 10 seconds?). However, the MB screen stays on-screen for around 2-3 mins now, then boots up windows as usual (no delay on the windows 8 logo and load screen). On first boot-up, I thought it might be due to the lack of drivers of the new GPU. However this same problem occurs every time I turn the computer on now (even after updating GPU drivers). I've launched some games and the GPU seems to be working fine. Any ideas what the problem could be? A few problems I ran into when putting in the hardware: The new SATA power cable that I put into the SSD wasn't going in properly at first (however, if something had gone wrong here, surely the drive wouldn't boot-up windows at all?) When removing the old CPU power cable, I did bang my hand on the MB slightly, nothing major. Would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help! Thanks
  2. Hi there, I'm interested in buying the KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 OC Silent "Infin8 Black Edition" from OCUK. Just wanted to ask a few questions in regards to this. I'm also looking to purchase a Corsair CS650M 650W Semi-Modular 80+ GOLD Certified Power Supply (could anyone vouch for this PSU? Ive seen some pretty positive reviews for it) and was wondering if this PSU would be powerful enough seeing as this version of the 970GTX is Overclocked? Would there be enough power if i were to OC the CPU as well or would I need to jump up to a 750w for that? The card currently comes with The Witcher 3 game bundle. Does anyone know when this NVIDIA deal expires, and if so, what next 'free game with a 900 series GPU' would they be possibly offering? My current set-up: CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 ivy bridge Motherboard: GA-Z77-D3H RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 PSU: 500w Coolermaster standard PSU CASE: NZXT Phantom 410 (worried might not fit?) Thank you so much for your support.
  3. Does anybody have any idea how long it'll be before the price range drops on these 'next-gen' monitors? If at anytime? Obviously want one of these badboys and looking to purchase a GTX970 in the summer, with the hopes of another SLI combo down the line. Baring this in mind, i'd rather wait on buying this monitor to fulfill its potential. What do you guys think?
  4. It's a Cooler master elite power rs500 PSU. If i can get away with it then less removing wires and cable management, with the obvious money saving benefit. Exactly why I need to upgrade to this badboy!
  5. Hi here, I'm interested in buying this product but would like to know if my current set-up will be able to support this card. My Set-up: CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 ivy bridge Motherboard: GA-Z77-D3H RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 PSU: 500w CASE: NZXT Phantom 410 (worried some versions may not fit?) Do you think this is the right card for me? Would you also recommend getting an overclocked version or standard? Is there anything I should be aware of when purchasing the overclocked versions? Thanks in advance for your support!
  6. I love you guys, but in all honesty, i'd love a NUC more .
