  1. Thanks a lot for the help, it's getting late here so I'll have a look tomorrow
  2. Bah its a 5 pin with small holes, I think the only way to hook it up would be to wire it up myself, but I dont know what pins are what
  3. I actually bought a 970 recently but returned it after it havi,g really bad coil whine, then this card develops a fault lol, think the universe is trying to tell me something?
  4. Its not a standard fan connector though, it has 5 pins, any idea which wire is which?
  5. Do you know what the pin outs are?
  6. My asus hd 7870s onboard fan controller appears to have blown and the fans no longer start. Any way to hook them up to a molex or anything?
  7. I actually have a 240GB SSD so i doubt that's the problem. I checked, the game never makes it near the full 2GB of VRAM
  8. My specs are HD 7870, FX 8350 and 8GB RAM. Even when I run Shadow of Mordor at lowest settings and resolution I'm still getting lag at times for example when the objectives come on the screen and a few other events. I checked on google and asked my friends and no one seems to be having this problem. Any ideas?
  9. Hi everyone. Just wandering what the OS Type setting is for in the bios of gigabyte motherboard. It says that if i choose windows 8 it will enable some features. What are these features and how useful are they?
  10. Thank you all for the input, still not sure what i'll do but I'm not in any rush to decide.
  11. Hey guys, I'm planning on upgrading my graphics card soon and I need a little help. I have got a Bequiet! pure power 530W power supply and an fx8350 OCd to 4.5GHz at about 1.4V. I'm planning on getting something like an r9 290 but I really doubt that the power supply will be enough. Will it be enough if I set my CPU to stock or should I upgrade my PSU before GPU? Any help would be appreciated, thanks Here's my full specs FX 8350 @ 4.5GHz 1.4V Ga 990FXA UD5 2x 4GB Corsair 1866MHz Radeon HD 7870 DCUII Bequiet! 12. Sorry it's the R9 290 DCUII no it's the DCUII If you remove the red stickers on the DCUII it would be completely black Thanks anyway, hopefully someone will reply who has one and has done it.
  13. I know that you can remove the red stickers on the R9 290x but can you also remove them on the 290? I ask because I'm thinking of getting one and I really prefer the all black look.
  14. Thanks that really puts my mind at ease also I ran BF4 for a little while with the heatsinks installed and my card VRM is only going to 87 max so hopefully it's all good
  15. It's the VRM(Voltage Regulation Modules) on my graphics card
