Oh MA GAUD , Unreliable Information, NVLinks will never appear now in consumer age , Supercomputer uses it like the tatian Supercomputer . PCIE Gen 4 might be coming in soon .

Check the GPU Fans and touch the Backplate if it is Wam or Hot , it might prove is working well , fans must be spinning too , Try to reseat the GPU again into the PCI x16 Slot If your have another PCI x16 or x8 try to use that slot , or you enter your BIOS and Disable Integrated Graphic , connect your VGA or DVI into the GPU not THE Motherboard VGA Or DVi .

It up to you , laptop is portable. You can achieve the demands performance as Custom Made PC.

You have a server , that will be connected too a network and accessed with another computer why bother get a GPU ? , plus most of it come with integrated GPU , don't waste money pay your electric bills better .

AMD Phenom , Althon , etc , can be overclocked by base , but not multiplier , only the Black Editons CPU are unlockable and overclockable . 4200+ with that (+) doesn't mean it overclockable it just an generations Model number .

Hmmm .. hardly u can find that old motherboard now , why don't you try EBay ? There might be some there , or your local computer shop , they might throw some in their storeroom . wil Try to help you to find the motherboard . what your budget ?

Have you done CMOS Erase ? , by taking out the battery drain the system for 30 sec .. Then turn on again ? , if that doesn't work , you can try taking put some RAMs and try to boot up since u have 32GB.

It might be your BIOS Limitation , Even my RAM is Rated 800mhz it runs 466mhz only . My CPU Z show 466Mhz , I don't get it why tho . Leave it as default .. Really if you can't change it then leave it , don't do RAM Over clocking.

Board manufacturers are now releasing new BIOSs for the G3258. Check for the most recent one. According to the CPU support list for that Asus board, the G3258 is "supported" with BIOS (2001). So it should work OK out of the box. Also, there appears to be an update tool offered that they recommend using to update the BIOS with for 4th gen CPUs. How long have you been using your Hard Drive ? Do you have , MSI afterburner installed ? , did you overclock it ? either in BIOS or using MSI ? , if yes . Set the setting back to Default . If not . Uninstall all your GPU drivers , Reboot your computer , go into your internet browser and install the GPU drivers ! Problems still persist call up Your GPU manufacture for details .
