You could try to uninstall the usb drivers, reboot. Maybe that fixes it

go valve go! they will be the ones to really push developers into supporting linux OSes. i myself want to make a small indie game just for grins and giggles. and the first platform i want to launch to is Linux. Either Ubuntu or SteamOS.

nkucz reacted to Saladin in Does this custom loop work?
You fill the loop through the res, there is a fill port next to that top fitting (its clear). Just remember to keep your res above and before your pump in your loop, this way the pump never goes dry and gets damaged, the rest of the loop order doesn't matter.

nkucz reacted to Ghost in Custom loop in the Prodigy help!
Yes it does make sense. I personally go with 3/8 1/2 tubing but it really doesn't make a difference. You will find a more complete answer in the watercooling FAQ but go with whatever size the fittings and tubing you want are available in. Once you pick a size you will probably stick with it for the rest the lifetime of the build as you will always have spare fittings or tubing in that size.

I'll get a picture for you when I get home in a few hours.
But I just peeled of the sticker. There's two cables in each sleeve. Put on a few small pieces of heatshrink and shrunk them. I got the thin heatshrink for heatshrinkless sleeving, and there's barely room for that. You could take off the cables and just resodder them afterwards. That would make room for heatshrinkless sleeving, then you'd be able to get the sleeving to cover a bit more of the wire, and it would most likely look a tad better overall. If not, the sleeving won't be able to go all the way up, so there will be some exposed wire, but the sticker will mostly cover that up.
You could also use some glue to fasten the wire. Lutro0 made a guide about that:

I like AMD video cards, I love both companies and don't fall victim to the war between them

nkucz got a reaction from Vitalius in Interesting Idea for my 3570k :)
So I recently built a new Haswell system and don't want my 3570k to go to waste so I came up with a relatively cheap way to put it to use, this won't be a gaming system by any means but just a nice little system to browse the web and watch videos etc.
Parts:
Intel 3570k
Lian Li PC-Q30X (always wanted to build in this)
MSI Z77IA-E53
G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB (Blue)
Silverstone ST30SF 300W
WD Blue 500GB 2.5" HDD

Hopefully will do all custom cabling, but can you custom cable a non-modular PSU? If not I will use extensions. Also, I will be using the stock Intel cooler but I will black out the sticker and sleeve the cables. All sleeving will be black and blue!
Thoughts?

nkucz reacted to ltguy in The I7-950's gots to go! Updated 1/04
So i've been using the machine for about 2 months now and everything's working fine. I havent really taken alot of photos because i've been trying to pick out a new camera and just have not gotten around to it yet.
Even though this switch 810 has lots of options and tons of room, i grew tired of all the plastic and overall build quality. Time to go back to my first love. Lian Li !
I ordered the Lian LI PC-D600 and it arrived today. Its supposed to be a Christmas present so I wont assemble it till the holidays when I have time off of work. But that leaves plenty of time to plan and shop. I might pick up a Swiftech H20- 320 or something similar to go behind the motherboard tray and replace my h100i but still not sure if its worth it to me or not. Did a little ms paint to see how everything would fit. Little bummed the mobo will cover up some of the cable passthroughs but it should still work.
Let me know if you have any suggestions for a good 360mm water cooling kit or thoughts on the current one I looking at.

*Jaw Drops*
I just went through this whole build log and not once found myself bored, this build is amazing and the attention to detail is incredible. I found myself laughing at the insanity of it, this is an astounding build.
