  1. Hey guys, I'm building a budget gaming PC for Christmas this year, and after deciding which components to purchase after rigorous research I have one concern. Will the graphics card take up so much room (do to the heatsink and fans), that the other two PCIe slots will be covered and unusable? I desperetly need to fit my Wireless Network Card in the bottom PCIe slot to connect to the internet, and before I buy this motherboard I want to be sure I can fit both the GPU and the network card. My components will be listed below! Build List: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nkucz/saved/x3hgsY Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-A GPU: PowerColor Radeon RX 470 4GB Red Devil WiFi Card: Asus PCE-AC56 Thanks!
  2. Do you have an amp/dac for them?
  3. You have experience both the DT990's and M50x and prefer the M50x? SOO many choices this is difficult. Any thoughts on Audio Technica AD series headphones?
  4. Do I need an AMP or Sound Card for any of these headphones?
  5. Not necessary, already have Blue Snowball microphone.
  6. Yes I have heard all about it, still would prefer dedicated headphones and not a gaming headset.
  7. Hey guys, I need a pair of headphones to use while gaming, but I don't really want a gaming headset, I'd prefer a quality set of headphones. I know companies such as Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, and Sennheiser make quality headphones, but which are ideal for gaming? Any recommendations are appreciated, and my price range is ideally between $100-$150! Also, I don't really want to buy a soundcard or amp if that affects anything. Thanks!
  8. What are the downsides between N900 and AC, also if the Asus is going to make a noticeable difference and will last longer, I have no problem spending a little extra to get it I guess.
  9. I have absolutely no idea, they don't post any information about their network online. I'd rather go with the Gigabyte if I don't really need the Asus as it's like another $20. The Gigabyte also has a movable antenna (as does the Asus) which I really like as a feature.
  10. Hey guys, I know that optimally you should connect your gaming PC to the internet via ethernet cable to get the best results. However, for some of us, including myself this is simply not possible for reasons of our own. For example, I'm currently enrolled in school in live in apartment/dorm type thing off campus, but we are connected to the schools WiFi and that is our only solution for internet. I assume that the next best option would be to buy a dedicated Wireless Network PCI card, but there are so many options with so many different reviews. Some are extremely expensive while others are rather cheap, I'm not sure how much I need to spend in order to get a really solid card. After all my research I have come across a few options that I'd be willing to pay for! (The cheaper the better, at the end of the day this is a budget build). Anyway, I will link the cards below and I'm asking for your help in deciding which one of these to get or if you have a better option please link it below! 11. Yes I saw the AOC one but I hate the red and black monitors I think it is so tacky, no offense to anyone! Also, as everyone has said and has confirmed my suspicions, with my setup I'll likely never achieve 144 fps and I'm not a hardcore gamer, just a casual one! Thanks for your input tho
  12. Hey everybody, I'm currently planning my budget gaming computer build for Christmas, and have finalized the list except for a few of the peripherals. I will attach a link the pcpartpicker list below for my build specs, but as a baseline I plan to get a i3 6100 and a RX 470. I'm stuck between two different monitors in my price range, I'm curious if you all think a 75hz refresh rate with FreeSync is better or a 144hz refresh rate monitor without FreeSync. 75hz with FreeSync: https://www.amazon.com/VG245H-1080p-Console-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B01JGYM5H6/ref=sr_1_8?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1479246408&sr=1-8&keywords=24"+freesync 144hz without FreeSync: https://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479246831&sr=8-1&keywords=24"+gaming+monitor Build List: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nkucz/saved/x3hgsY There is another option made by AOC that is 144hz, that also has FreeSync but honestly I think it would be overkill considering my GPU and the games I intend to play. I also absolutely hate how it looks, LOL! But if you think I should get this one instead of the other two options, lmk. Thanks guys!
  13. When people call a video card a "GPU". I don't call a motherboard a "CPU".
  14. I have it, and it seems brand new. I have no clue how to find out how many shots have been taken.
  15. I bought the refurbished one, do you think I will have any problems? The seller seems pretty legit.
  16. Oh, well I just bought the refurbished one, so hopefully everything will workout okay!
  17. Yea... so... about that whole one hour to think it over idea I just had. Well, I bought it
  18. I'm going to give it thought for another hour or so, and then pull the trigger (probably). I will let everyone know how it works out! Still would love more feedback on the topic.
  19. Don't get me wrong I'm a little nervous, never have bought refurbished before. But based on this sellers expertise, I assume if anything is wrong I will get all my money back.
  20. 240,480 feedback to be exact, and also has already sold 40 of the same cameras, all five star reviews.
  21. Do you think it would be a good purchase?
  22. He has 99.7% positive feedback and 200,000 people put feedback.
