  1. I noticed this problem just 2 days ago. I was playing GTA V, it was right after i installed a mod. Something went wrong so i just pressed every single button on my keyboard. After that, it stated to show some weird symptoms. If i press and hold the WASD keys to walk, run or drive, it almost looks like im tapping the keys so my character either doesnt move, or moves very slowly. It almost looks like the character is having a stroke. So i naturally assumed that it was caused by the mod so i replaced the modded game with the backup i made. The problem didnt disappear. Then i tested with GTA 4, and it showed the same problems. I have searched everywhere to see if anyone had a similar problem, but no one seems to have this kind of problem. The weird part is that this problem can be temporarily fixed when i press other keys while im holding the wasd keys. But the problem comes right back after i stop moving. The keyboard I'm using is CM Quickfire rapid i. Help me solve this issue.
  2. Also, the apparently, u need numberpad keys, not number keys for navigation.
  3. If u are referring to the number keys on the top of the keyboard, I guess that could work in game but it becomes really challenging to navigate.
  4. I've been playing GTA V on PC for a while. One of the biggest reasons why I waited almost 2 years to play it was to install mods. However, navigating through mods ingame require a numpad which i don't have. I am currently using a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard which is amazing. And i never use numpad. So i thought i would buy a cheap external numpad just for the mod navigation in GTA V. Does an external numpad work in games? Is it recognised as a normal numpad? Also can u guys recommend me a cheap external numpad? I live in australia so if u do know a cheap one, plz tell me.
  5. I am currently using the speakers built in the monitor. But whenever i connect the headphone to the monitor, i hear a white noise. So to connect directly to the PC, i need to to to control panel-sound and select Speaker(realtek high def audio) every time. And i need to select the monitor speaker and make it as a default everytime. How do i fix this?
  6. i measured the FPS using fraps and it goes upto 1500FPS.....
  7. i have never used an ergonomic mouse in my like and usually, there was a big gap between my palm and the mouse. I tried the deathadder for the first time and it felt like my hand was stuck to the mouse. Im not sure if that is a positive thing or a negative thing. I was gonna get Corsair M45 but i cant decide. Which one should i buy. P.S. My brother has a deathadder without the side buttons. If im gonna get a deathadder, ill prob get one without side buttons since i believe they will get annoying cause ill never use em. Are there any disadvantages to ones without the side buttons? like the sensor quality, etc
  8. I have a question. I know the M65 is a similar mouse with metal build and dedicated sniper button. And for some weird reason, M45 is more expensive and hard to get compared to M65. So i might buy M65 instead. My concern is that would that dedicated sniper button get in my way.
  9. I am looking for a good gaming mouse. There aren't any store nearby to try em out. I recently returned Corsair M95 which nearly fit my hand perfectly. But was just too heavy for me and all that buttons got in my way. I have narrowed down my choices to those or roccat one pure or xtd. Which ones would you guys recommend?
  10. another problem is that my case is define R5............ It's gonna be challenging
  11. this is part of the email reply i received from he retailer. -Unfortunately coil whine is only something that is covered under warranty if it can clearly be heard from 1m away while the unit is inside a sealed case. so I JUST NEED TO make a better quality video to prove that this is a coil whine. I might use a screenshot of this forum to prove it.
  12. the PROBLEM is that the retailer apparently thinks that high pitch noise is a normal computing Noise....... I'm gonna make a new video with better quality to get a replacement
  13. i don't have a on ear headphone and the case is right next to me so yeah. Its very annoying.
  14. i PURCHASED asus GTX 970 a few days ago and i noticed it makes a high pitch noise when playing chess games. So i went to PC CASE GEAR (The retail shop where i purchased) and tried to get a replacement. But they told me they couldn't hear a thing when running benchmark. I asked them to run the chess games but they told me the can't. So one of the employee told me to make a video and send it to them. So i did and they replied today. This is what they said -The noise of your mouse clicks is very audible however other than this we are unable to hear anything other than the standard computer operation noises. So i want to ask you. Is this sound meant to be a normal sound? i played chess titan for a long time an I've never heard such sound in my previous pcs. Heres the link to the video i recorded using iPad mini so the quality isn't great. After few seconds, you can see me mute the pc sound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCbK_BzAHnk Update: Turns out this occurs when the fps is too high. This is a bad news because some games dont have fps limiter and in every many game menus, i can clearly hear the high pitch noise.
