I use a Kazemaster ace and my advice would be that the temp sensors are almost completely useless.
As Whaler sez u cannot place sensors near core components that actually generete the most heat ie. CPU, GPU. U can place sensors in certain areas in and around but the temps u are recording wont really tell u anythin particulary useful.
A sensor to tell u the ambient temp in the case may be ok but not really that important.
What type of MOBO do u have? I just use the software in that to monitor CPU and i use EVGA precision x for GPU.
All other temps r really not that important

sadly crappy presentations like these are par for the course in marketing/business classes. I'm guilty of doing bad cheesy presentations myself. lets see, I was a mafia hit man, spandex wearing tony little health freak, circus animal trainer and a moustachioed guitar wielding latin pick up artist mixed meets Night at the Roxbury techno head bobbing moron (this one was my favorite because I was able to run around the room and mack on all the hot girls I was scared to death to talk to) .... there are a bunch more that I'd rather suppress now and let a shrink earn a paycheck from later...
I think I used the cheese as a shield, if I had to go up in front of my class and make a fool of myself I'll be the biggest fool of them all. I guess it is scary being yourself up there so I would use a disguise, or I'll hide behind all this cheese on stage. because of this, I can really empathize with that nerd in the crappy feathers because that would be me hiding behind the feathers up on that stage because I was too afraid to be me.
however, a presentation like that doesn't come from one but a committee, a committee of spineless yes men, too afraid to say no sir I think that is a bad idea. no sir, that is in poor taste.

the biggest obstacle right now is that none of the available cables have enough bandwith for 1440p 3d - but that should be solveable since there are 10Gb/s ethernet cables. Single link is 3.96Gb/s and dual link is according to wikipedia "Limited only by copper bandwidth limitations, DVI source limitations, and DVI sync limitations."

Problem with Thermal sensors and new chip design - you cannot really get the sensor anywhere near the core component generating the heat, in the case of a CPU or GPU. I would say attach one to the exaust area of your CPU cooler. If it gets to hot, ramp up CPU and intake fans. Maybe one near exhaust on GPU cooler? If it gets to hot, ramp up intake and side intake fans?

For $40 there isn't that much performance gain and as said above it's currently out of stock.

All i really want is enough memory for 3d surround at extreme settings at 40+ fps.
Thats all haha.
Seriously tho. Why should we have to choose between surround or 3D? I want both!!!
