  1. The monitors are not included, so you suggest going to the 9900k over keeping the 6700k, and doing duel sticks instead of quad, thank you for your time, also, do you think using the old parts for a second less powerful pc is worth doing if I got something like a capture card qnd off load some of the streaming stress onto it?
  2. Budget (including currency): around 2000 usd Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Game Production, Gaming, Video Editing and Recording/Streaming, are probably the most load intensive things i do. Other details https://pcpartpicker.com/list/svWc7T is the base build that i got back when the 6700k first came out, and well, i think it is doing good, however i would like six monitors, and to re up, and be sure i won't have to upgrade again for five more years, i honestly think the 6700k is going to be fine for that, i would however like to upgrade the card, and maybe slap 4 16 gb ram sticks in to up from 32 to 64, as for monitors, i use these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LBM2DCC/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=A3VMXRQXIYY5JV&psc=1, i currently have four, i don't game on them, or anything like that, i only use the one middle lower monitor to game, normally with discord on one, youtube chat, twitch chat, and steam chat, along with donations on another, and the stream preview and stats on the top/ along with the webcam, then for game creation more monitors just allows me to keep everything in track easier, lots of stuff to keep organized. i am not sure if the upgrade is worth it or not, but so far this is what i am thinking, feel free to tell me i am a dum dum, and let me know a better way if i am. swap my 4 8 gb sticks of ram out with 4 16 gp sticks, add https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HY6QWXN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 to the build for the main monitor, keeping the 980ti g1 gaming to run the other monitors Buy three of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T7TSG4L/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=AAO6TDKV4R7PK&psc=1 buy two more of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LBM2DCC/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A3VMXRQXIYY5JV&psc=1 and finally put it all together to have a six monitor setup, that can run games for years to come on the main monitor, and stream, create in unreal, and edit videos well enough along side it.
  3. Well, you could use your computer if you had a way to imput the sound.
  4. -.- overkill is not TOO MUCH, its too much to make it make CENTS, only because think about how much a router needs? a nas? its not 16 gbs not saying you cant do it, and not saying it will cause problems. just saying you can spend less and be fine.
  5. The only real "overkill" is the ram, the rest is an acctual upgrade over worse parts, with that you would have 1 gb to your main os, 7 to your router, and 8 to your nas.
  6. Oh, i know, i just was admitting that because i didnt want it to be the issue and you feel bad about it i may not seem it but i care about you guys ~cheers and i hope that you figure it out.
  7. yeah, thats true, it just aggravates me because, in the past 3 weeks i have "fixed" 5 laptops and one desktop for my family members. T_T but you are right if it was controlled better then i would not have to do these things anyways..
  8. yeah, im not questioning the psu, just asking if you are using seprate cables for each gpu, i did this once T_T thats why im asking.
  9. Well 720 30 fps is still a great streaming quality, and with the fact that not much is changing on screen the bit-rate can go down, the add in of a mic was included in the reccomented bit-rate, so thats not going to hamper it.
  10. you are right, the only problem is, before they started forcing it, windows upgrade errors hardly showed up, not to mention most people still don't even want to go to 8.1, or have upgraded to 8.1 and only just got used to it before getting ripped away into a different os. its the fact that its stupid for ms to do this, not really the errors.
  11. Sounds like its not getting enough power to me. are you using separate cables for the gpus?
  12. This is for troubleshooting? was it your computer? thought you was just trying to talk about the situation? you didnt post anything about you getting bricked nor a error code?
  13. yeah, we also know that the "dozens" of pc's you have upgraded, were upgraded the "right" way, and by someone that knows how to fix it if it does "brick" i was just laying claim to the fact that just because you did dozens of them does not mean that the issue is the person..
  14. Yes, thats what i said. the step up from kbps is mbps making 1000 kbps into 1 mbps.. BTW thats every "bitrate"
  15. yeah, if it is not "intensive" video like gameplay you can lower the bitrate, 720p at 30fps can go down to 2000 per stream, facebook and other things dont really take much unless they upload a lot of videos.
