  1. Ok in my case sometimes I run an AIO (280 front mounted intake set to pull to be precise) and other times as documented below I run an air cooler. When I use the AIO I have my top fans set to exhaust, since a lot of the air that comes in from the rad isn't that cool now, better to just get it out, using fan curves to make sure the pressure isn't negative. However, when I have the air cooler installed I like to set my top fans to intake. And the reason for this is, I see the AIO a little bit as a mid exhaust fan, so any heat that does come off the GPU will just get soaked up by the AIO Setting the fans to intake (I like to have one inline with the cooler and one in front) I feel just helps keep the VRM and ram cool aswell. Anyone else use this theory or am I just speaking waffle?

    Case air flow

I'd have one at the front and one at the bottom (intake). . . . one at the back one at the top (exhaust)
  3. It was build last month from brand new. and havent got any HDD, so it is most likely a cap.
  4. My computer keeps making a Tssssshhhhhh noise, like every few seconds, sounds like a low volume ice cannon. . . Is that normal? it's not coil whine.
  5. well i mean there's too many variables to account for for me to compare my idle temps to yours, especially room ambient. I would say around 10-20 degrees above your room ambient is good. I'm currently at 48c on idle.
  6. Strange post to be making. Why do you care about having such a low idle temp? I have the 2080s by evga. This thing doesnt really go above 60c when gaming. And that's all i care about. I'd imagine your underload (gaming) temps are similar?
  7. I intend to, I just wanted to see if anyone could recommend me any components first. . . lol
  8. I kinda like them, i like how industrial they look, not too much fancy rgb etc
  9. few reasons. I wanna put a 360 in the front, 40mm thick. But I dont really have space for a reservoir, and also i dont really like the look of most AIO pumps, perhaps the NZXT pump head is nice with the infinity window, but with most AIOs come some sort of propriety fixing or software. I fancied just doing something abit different. so the respond question to that is. . . why not?
  10. Basically an AIO using custom parts and no reservoir? Can you post pictures please if you have?
