  1. Hey everyone, I was just wondering if other companies were allowed to use USB Lightning adapters in their products, the same port and cable that Apple uses for their products. I would suspect that since Apple has a patent on the technology, a 3rd party company would have to pay royalties for each product sold; or the company would need to pay something like an annual licensing fee. But I've never seen such a product before. So, does Apple not allow others to use their design (at all)? Or is the cost of paying Apple for each use way too much? Thanks!
  2. I saw Windows 8.1 Professional on http://g2a.com for $25 and I was really surprised! So I was wondering if G2A was a legit place to buy Windows 8.1. Also, I was wondering if I get Windows 8.1 from here, how would I get it on my First Build I'm doing soon? Would i have to do download it to a flash drive or what? Thank you in advance! Link to Windows 8.1 on G2A : https://www.g2a.com/microsoft-windows-8-1-professional-32-64-bit-oem-cd-key-global.html
  3. Can you make a small budget cut on that to be like $750, that would be great, thx!
  4. No I live in America just gave Canadian conversion to help, but thank you.
  5. I need help with finding parts for a build. This is my first time so I don't want to get the wrong parts. This is a Gaming Build and I want to get the best performance per dollar. Requirements: 1) Must be less than or equal to $750 USD (~$935 Canadian ) 2) Cost must Include Operating System (preferably Windows 8) 3) No SSDs 4) No hardware modding (like Linus does sometimes) 5) List must be on http://pcpartpicker.com Thank you in advance! P.S. I don't care whether it is Intel/Nvidia or AMD as long as I get the best performance per dollar.
  6. I want to build an alternative gaming PC with an Intel processor and perhaps with a Nvidia graphics card to counter my AMD build : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/z6vdf7 . I want to be able to upgrade later and since AMD is doing all this APU stuff without using AM3/AM3+ I feel AMD won't be a good choice. Am I right? So I'm looking for a $700 build (max $730) that has an Intel processor and can play ultra settings 60+fps on games, for example, BF4. Thank you in advance! Edit: Must include Windows 8.1 and $700 without tax
  7. I was wondering what the best "bang for the buck" pcie ssd was for curiosity.
  8. Is the FX-6300 better or worse than the FX-6200? I know that the FX-6200 has +0.3 GHz at 3.8 GHz and has a higher power consumption but the 6300 is higher sugested. So, I was confused.
  9. That's $54 over my budget with taxes though... I need something that is around $735 without
  10. I am almost ready to order my computer parts but I need some last minute help. Looking at builds made by other at the same price range I've seen them using a more hefty processor. This is a $800 build (includes 8.75% tax) being used as a Gaming PC and I am interested in streaming in the future. I've seen many with a FX- 8350 and R9 290/290X but I can only find myself to get a R9 290 and an FX-6300. I was just wondering where I might of spent too much and if you can show me where I can get more performance at the same price. This is my Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/smatforce/saved/XqmQzy Also, by the way the OS is $65 because I am buying it from my friend that doesn't need it.
