  1. Not really any progress. I am still saving up and will probably do so for a while. I kind of just made this thread to hear peoples opinion. I am almost sure the build will be changed in a lot of ways at the time I will get it.
  2. Title says it all, which one? Will be used for gaming.
  3. I made it over a few weeks or so. Been changing it up a lot of times but I like it as it is now.
  4. Well what about duration, will the card die quickly or will it last quite a while?
  5. So to conclude: PowerColor HD 7870 Myst. Edition will give me more performance than a EVGA 660?
  6. Might get the PowerColor then, since people suggested that and it's at the same price range as the 660. What is TressFX?
  7. Well. In my currency (the one displayed on the website you were looking at) it's around 1800DKK. I might be able to get above but if I really need a 7950 I will get this one: http://www.edbpriser.dk/grafikkort/msi-r7950-tf-3gd5-oc-be-3-gb-id-7240533.aspx and then I'll have to save even more money up than if I were to get a 660.

  9. What about the EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked 2GB which is $255 (calculated in my currency)?
  10. The PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 Myst. Edition. is $276 and the EVGA GTX 660 Signature 2 3GB is $294 (all calculated from my currency).
  11. I am relying on others information, really. I have never done my own build and I have never looked into computer hardware, so I know literally nothing. I am just being cautious I guess. I might just like the look of the 660 and I think it should be able to do the job for me. The 7870 might be cheaper and all, but a good friend of mine has only had bad experience with Radeon. I know several people have been backing up the 7950, 7970 and the 7870, but this is my first gaming build I've ever done and when I'm hearing bad stuff about Radeon I'd rather stay away from them. Can anyone convince me what is the best choice for the best gaming experience, the 660 or the 7870? When looking at the architecture the EVGA 660 has my vote, while this might not be an important factor at all, I find it kind appealing.
