Sure, it's pretty good at gaming; I just wouldn't buy one new since it's on an old platform.

Java got a reaction from Eliel1010 in thinking about upgrade my gtx 260
Upgrading from the 260 to something cheap like a 1050 ti/RX 570 would make a world of difference for your gaming experience.
Also, you could try buying used last gen. cards like a 970/980; those cards would give you a bit more for your money (just be wary of scams on ebay). That said, I'd definitely suggest upgrading your other components in the near future.

Java got a reaction from Damascus in Ryzen 1800X Water Cooling Kit and Case Suggestion
If it's your first build, I'd recommend EK. They got a configurator that you can use that picks all the parts you need based on your mobo, cpu, case, etc.

Java got a reaction from Yazoofiend in Bottleneck?
The 750ti at the time was a great card for 1080p gaming; now however it's definitely starting to show it's age. If you want a great GPU for 1080p gaming, you can't go wrong with the GTX 1060/RX 580 (if you can find one at a decent price).

People who don't run businesses often say this as though it's some kind of magical free pass to get stuff
You still have to earn the money.
The only difference is that you don't have to pay INCOME TAX on the money you earned that you spent on it.
Also, not everything can be written off immediately. Equipment and construction - anything that you'll be using for several years is never fully written off. You write a chunk of it off the first year, then a chunk more the second year, etc etc etc, but you never get to write off the full value.
Don't imagine "writing things off" means you don't have to earn the money to pay for them

Java got a reaction from genexis_x in Ebay new GTX 980, or New gtx 1060 3gb
You're better off with the 980 imo; games these days are using a decent amount of vram and the 980 is around 15-20% faster than the 1060 in games. Maxwell might be starting to show it's age, but it's still a decent architechture.

Just using a microfilber towel will do a good job, if your getting streaks or marks on it distilled water can help.
