  1. Hi. I think it has something to do with "Sticky Keys" in windows. Try pressing Shift 5 times (fast).
  2. Hi. I am putting a new PC for video editing work. I would love to hear your opinion about windowed cases. I really like the Fractal Design Define R4 Black Window case but I am wondering if it is louder than R4 without a window. I am also afraid if the dust may stick to the window and be visible after a few days. I would light the case with some LED strips. What do you think? Thanks.
  3. I am working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014, Adobe After Effects (not much), Blender 3D, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, StudioOne Free. I am shopping in Poland and my budget is about 3100zł but i can be a little bit more if it would give a big jump in performance. I edit FullHD h.264 footage (the most time). Of course I use my computer for web browsing, but I am not a gamer.
  4. Fractal Design R4 is my favourite
  5. Hi. I am going to build a new computer. I will be used to edit DSLR video (Full HD), I am also doing a bit of light Video FX and 3D work. I have a limited budget and I hope that I've chosen the best possible components. Now I have a i3-380M laptop and It...you know I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse and a Crucial M500 120GB SSD. I also have a copy of Windows 7. The parts which I picked to buy: CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Motherboard: MSI Z97 U3 Plus ATX Memory: Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Storage: Western Digital Red 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN851ND 802.11b/g/n PCI CPU cooler: SilentumPC Fortis 2 Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB (I will buy It in the future as an upgrade) What do you think of this setup. I know the importance of a GPU for video editing but I can't afford It now. I want to add more drives (RAID 0) in the future. Thanks.
  6. The Z97 is a good choice because it allows you to overclock (which may be much harder on H97). Also you should look for something with more than 3 years warranty because motherboards fail really often.
  7. I suggest you to check the wires again. Even when something looks like it is connected, the small plug may be broken inside. Good luck.
  8. I was thinking and I am a bit confused. I saw some tests which show that dual channel RAM is not that faster than single (in most cases). The cost is roughly the same to. Am I wrong? Thanks.
  9. You should see some OC guides on a Linus channel. Good luck overclocking.
  10. I can recommend you a Wacom Bamboo. I've been using it for about 1 year now and I thing it is a great choice fot it's price. There are a few of them. I have the pen-only version. I see that now they have replaced the bamboo line with a Intuos line. You can look for something like Wacom CTL480.
  11. Thanks for a good reply. So, I will probably stay with a 600W. Do you think that Corsair CX 600W is a good choice? Is it much better than something like Corsair VS 650W?
  12. Hi everyone. I am new here but I hope that I've chosen the right category. I am about to buy components to build a video editing/3D work computer. I want to point out that my budget is limited. I faced a problem when searching for a power supply. My component's are: I7-4790K MSI Z97 U3 PLUS (?) Nvidia GTX 760 HyperX FURY DDR3 8GB 1600MHz CL10 WD Red 1TB hard drive (planning to add a few more int the future) basic CD/DVD drive I have calculated my expected power consumption (with the CPU overclocked to 4,7 GHz) and it came at about 460W. The "recommended" PSU wattage for GTX 760 is about 500W. I am not going to run SLI or Cross Fire. I was thinking about choosing something like Corsair VS 550W or Corsair Corsair CX 600W. I confused because I saw that other people buyPSU-s more powerful than 650W even when building an i5 and GTX 660 systems. What do you think? Thanks.
