  1. I've wondered this. If you have a $300 laptop and a $2000 high end desktop, will they each run at the exact same internet speed or will there be a difference?
  2. The two laptop brands I have owned are coincidentally Toshiba and Asus. Both were not gaming computers; the Toshiba ~$500 and the Asus ~$700. I'm using the Asus right now, my Toshiba's hard drive crashed twice and the screen connector cable causes the screen to stop working occasionally. The Asus has only had a few slowdown bugs that fixed themselves. Granted, these are not high end or gaming laptops, but I would recommend Asus by far based on my experience.
  3. Based on the order details, they assemble it, test it, and ship it to you together and ready to go. Not 100% sure on that though.
  4. Coming from a noob: That computer is good for what you are looking for. It's a solid, low price system that should let you run everything you throw at it, but not at max settings.
  5. For some reason its slowly speeding up by itself... I've had a similar issue before, and I solved that by running AS MANY PROGRAMS AS POSSIBLE on startup. Seriously, it seems the more pressure I put on my pc, the better it performs...
  6. Still having issues. I think I may be infected or something, but I can't seem to find the direct cause.
  7. Running the scan now. I think Magnipic.exe might be causing it. That's the only odd process that comes to mind in the task manager. (The scan's quarantining Magnipic too)
  8. I'm looking to get a pre-built computer from NCIX and this so far seems to be the best one for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP-EpMOclYI I plan to play medium-intensive video games like LoL, Tf2, ect, and I want to livestream and makes lots of videos. How will this perform?
  9. Recently my computer has been acting very slow and unresponsive. Things such as opening task manager even take +10 seconds sometimes. All applications and general functions run excruciatingly slow for no apparent reason. Something I noticed is that my RAM usage is very high (+50% when nothing is running) and CPU usage is very low (almost always less than 10% even while running games.) Its usually the opposite. My laptop is: an Asus Intel core i5-2450M @ 2.5 ghz, 6 gb RAM, Intel HD 3000 Please help me if you can. If you need more information, I'll be here to provide it to you. Thank you
