true. a 6700s would be optimal if they were released by now. But they don't have a bunch of different models. The cpu's are upgradeable though. so i could get the one with the i5-4460 in it and swap it for a 4790s, a nd then sell the 4460 if i am able to get a buyer .

I'm from norway, and an avid gamer, and still i had never heard of this norwegian firm making gamer laptops. never seen any commercials or anything.

They make stuff that looks really sweet. hard finding reviews about it even. i had to read a review before i found out that it's actually 75hz. 

I'm sooo gonna order one when i get some money soon <3

+, an i7 6700k, and therefore ddr4 RAM. I'm abit worried about heat, and quality, and it's hard to find out aswell, and i don't know about anyone who's got one of their laptops.

I allready have a decent desktop. 4690k+980 ti.

The laptop is for lans and stuff .
My main concern was that 2 cores would bottleneck the 960m in some way. It will purely be a portable gaming and browsing machine.

But it seems like the i7 won't be necessary.

If the difference would be maybe 1-2 fps it's not really worth.

Just cancelled myself. i bought a xb270hu, and sent it back and ordered the x34.. as i thought it was coming out in august. now i have to ordered a new xb270hu from the same people. this might get awkward

Hey, i'm looking at some cheap laptops to bring with me to dreamhack, and friends and stuff, as carrying a tower, a screen etc. can be a hassle.

I've found the one i want, it has a gtx 960m in it. but it comes in two variants. one with an i5-4210H, and one with an i7-4720HQ.

The difference in price is 800NOK, or 98 USD.

the coming DX12 games will be better at using multiple threads, but how much of a difference can there possibly be on a 960m?

And pls don't make this about getting a 970m instead. the 960m laptop costs 7695nok vs 13500nok for the cheapest laptop with a 970m i could find. so not an option.

The laptop in question is the Multicom kunshan N150 (norwegian firm, apparently they're good, according to reviews)

At sites here in norway. a 950 costs 1600nok. and a 960 costs 1900nok.

The difference between these 2 cards is pretty big.

If you can't afford the 960, go for the 950. But it's worth saving up the extra 15% more monies

My site just changed their ''expected date'' to 11th october. it was 21th august, then 6th september. now it's october. 

My site were supposed to get it 21th august. i even asked them and got it confirmed. but now it seems like it's been pushed to 6th september . Komplett.no .

ahhh. i have that gpu. a great overclocker, and good temps. i'm a little nervous how the 980 ti will hold up when my 3440x1440p screen arrives though. But it has no problems with 60fps in 1440p. in BF4 i get 90+ fps ultra quality . 

If i were you. i'd go for a 4690k. save 130$ on that and 8 gb of ram instead. and use the extra money to get a GTX 980.
A 4690k is awesome for gaming, and you can allways upgrade to 16 gb of ram later.

If you actually get it on 22 August I will just order it from that website and pay for postage for it.

I've ordered one from komplett.no (scandinavian site.) originally they said shipping date was 12th september. but now it's 21th of august. i asked them if this was legit and got a yes. i'll prolly have this in the end of the month

 

I only wish it had a free VESA mount on the back myself, then i would mount a zbox with a 970m on the back of it and have no PC case at all ^^

the width is 825.1 mm total. When you attend dreamhack. you get 830x600mm of space for your monitor and mousepad/keyboard etc. but people allways try to steal some space from you. this monitor would set the boundries by itself

Another plus from this screen. it's width is in total 825.1mm. £ dreamhack you get 830mm. so now people can't sneak an inch or two from you from each side.

It is doable. I know Valve will ban you if you do that with their games (I don't know about League), so you might want to be careful with that.

Ban me? why? we'd each have our own copy of the game.

Can this even be done?

A friend is visiting me from denmark, i have 2 screens. and i have 2 sets of keyboards and mice.
My comp is an oc'd 4690k and 2x980 ti. so it should be enough..

The games in question are League of legends and/or diablo 3.

I've seen some youtube videos and some programs. but they all seem to be for windows 7/8. 
and i don't know if logging on to 2 instances of battle.net and lol client will work on a single pc.

He can't bring his pc from denmark, it's a long way. but we'd love to play together.
