OS and other applications crashing constantly.
Eladarian replied to Eladarian's topic in Troubleshooting
I've made an hardware check, and there was nothing wrong with it. I've also tried swap out some of the dims, but nothing seemed to work. So I think the last option in this case, is to get a new pair of ram, but I just wanted to get the last confirmation before I went ahead and use money, which is a thing I unfortunately don't have a lot of, this saddens me. -
Hey guys. I have a rather serious problem with my desktop computer, and I hope you guy could help me out. Lately I have experienced a lot of recent bsod ( Black Screen of Death ) where the error code was either Memory Management or Non-paged area. Not only that, certain applications, like my browsers, Chrome & Firefox keep crashing. Also my steam games & Blizzard games keep crashing. I have done a little bit of troubleshooting myself, and has also run the windows memory program ( Can't remember the exact name, sorry ) where the program simply reported nothing wrong. few days went by without the random crashes, and now all of the sudden, it has started to happen again, and this time more often as it should do ( In my opinion) The memory that I'm currently using is 4x4Gb Kingston Hyperx 1033MHz, and it has been in my system for almost solid 3 years. Could it be time for new memory, is there another way around to solve the issues? I dearly hope you guys could help me out Best regards, Eladarian.

Yes! That's what I tried to do. And where do I find the bugcheck & dump file ?

Corsair h60 pump to fancontroller :s?
Eladarian replied to Eladarian's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Damn. Thanks for all the response guys. Today when I installed the h60, and let's just say that there was a little bit of mess going on... So what happen was: When I was about to install the pump, I didn't notice that one of the tubes wasn't completely all the way on, so as I was stretching the tubes so that I could properly install it into the CPU, the tube popped off and all the liquid got out in my case.... Good lord was a bloody mess.... Now I'll have to send it back to Corsair :c Everything else went according to plan, but that tube though.... So, I think I'll just stick to aircooling, I'm pretty scared of trying again -
Corsair h60 pump to fancontroller :s?
Eladarian replied to Eladarian's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
I just went through my cables I had in my randombox, and I found this, could this be the adapter you're talking about? http://prntscr.com/2r7zem -
Hey guys. The reason why I'm making this topic is because I'm getting the Corsair h60, and I might have a problem or 2. Nr. 1 I can't seem to change the voltage of any system fanheaders in my BIOS ( I have an Intel DP67DE MOBO ) Or can I just plug the pump into the CPU fanheader and therefore it will automaticly adjust the voltage to what the pump needs, or secondly, I have the Define r4 with a built-in fancontroller which has 3 different voltage levels, 3, 7, 12V. Could I in theory just plug the pump into the fancontroller, and just have the level set to 12V constantly? Or does the controller not support the wattage that the pump generates? And if I'll be able to plug the pump into the controller, then I need to plug in the included fan into the CPU fanheader? I've read that the pump needs 12V to operate 100%, so I really don't know what to do o0 It would be very nice of you guys to give me a little answer :3 ( I apoligize if my topic seems kinda confusing, I've researched and researched, but I haven't been able to find any solusions, so that's why I'm asking you guys So please bear with me on this one >.<) Regards, Eladarian.

Hey guys. So I recently got another 120Gb SSD that I want to put into RAID 1 with my other SSD, which also has my OS on it.. When you're creating the "Volume" it warns you that all data will be deleted, does that include the OS too? Sorry if it seemed like a bad question or anything, I really don't know much about this stuff Regards, Eladarian.

Hey people.- I'm going to purchase a new headset due to the one I currently have doesn't really fit me right for the needs I have. The headset I want, has to be good for both music & gaming. The headset doesn't need to have a microphone, since I use a secondary microphone. I have a max budget on 250 $. So if any of you have any suggestions, I would be happy to see them Regards, Eladarian.

Hey guys. I recently got some new fans in my computer, and I wanted to use the built-in fancontroller in the Fractal Design R4. The fancontroller has 3 levels of voltage you can send to your fans.- 5V, 7V or 12V. You can only connect 3 3-pin fans. What I've connected is a Corsair SP120x2 and a Corsair AF 140. They all work perfectly fine on 5V. But whenever I put it up to 7V or 12V, they'll just shut off :i I have no clue on how to fix that, perhaps somebody could help me out? Regards, Eladarian.

Will this PSU run my system without problems?
Eladarian replied to Eladarian's topic in Power Supplies
The Corsair RM750Watt is even more expensive than 120$? I think I'll go with the XFX, as it has all what I need, and is less expensive than the Corsair RM750. -
