Okay great thanks! I am not going to touch the configs until i have a firm answer. I don't have anything particularly unreplaceable that I know of (he says with a fearing chill going down his back) only thing are my minecraft worlds but I can always rebuild them.

I was using raid 1. 2 drives at 1TB each. I sadly did not since I nothing large enough to store them.

Okay so here comes a story. I went away for winter break leaving my computer on at my dorm so I could download games to it through teamviewer so that they are ready for me when I get back. Well my RA decides to go through an unplug everything from everyones room. I tried to fix the files but no luck. I have reinstalled windows 8.1 enterprise (version my dad had so I didn't have to buy windows). I have 3 drives in my system. 1 drive (the one that ultimately failed) for my OS, and two others for files and programs and my games. I took out my two file drives to ensure that nothing got deleted in the install process of windows. I got all the drives installed for windows, shut down, put drives back in, and now windows reads them as non-raid disks. I went to the config page and saw 3 options create raid volume, delete raid volume, and reset disks to non-raid. I have no clue what to do in order to view these drives again, please help. I have a sabertooth x79 motherboard and in the SATA section I have it set to RAID config out of IDE and AHCI.

With my Macbook pro I never see any fingerprints on the material ever and I often carry it around the room on the the palm rest areas.

Hello everyone! I was wondering what materials you have come across with your PC builds that seem like they never get fingerprints on them! Pictures are welcomed!

I am putting together a wish list of parts because I want to make a more portable PC. My main thing is I want to use most of the components I already have to save money. My main thing is the motherboard. Are there any mini or micro ITX motherboards that support i7 3820. I am guessing not but I just want to be certain.

Okay I am thinking of upgrading to a much better graphics card for my build. I am stuck between getting Radeon RX 480 8GB or GTX 1070 8GB. I am planning on buying these on the black friday time frame in hopes that it will be cheaper. Which do you think I should get? I am just currently only going to be playing 1080p games but I would like to play 4k or 2k games in the future. I also want this card to help with my hobby of game designing.

Sadly one of my desktop screen has bit the dust so having this ultra compact, easily movable projector will come in hand to play my games on..... but now it will be 60" to 100" of full length delight to play with... I mean on!

Yeahhhhhh to answer your question why I got a 610 is because my dad was helping me and he didn't want to spend a lot of money on a graphics card. He said he would buy my first custom desktop so I could learn to build a computer. I tried to reason with him that it should be the thing you put the most money into but he wouldn't listen. It has now been a couple years and I am getting sick of not being able to play games on my computer to its max, so I am getting a new graphics card.

So right now I have a Asus geforce gt 610 and I need an upgrade. I am unable to play at my max resolution, I am always going windowed or setting the graphics to low. I have been looking at GTX 970's since it seems you get the most bang for your buck, but I cant decide on which company or if I should even get a GTX 970. My price range is around the $300 mark. The video output needs to have at least a DVI and HDMI. Here are my computer specs, if it helps.
