  1. I have a PowerEdge 2950 that I'm trying to put Ubuntu server on, and I can't get the the thing to connect to the internet. It can connect to the local network though. Heres the Network info from the manual Dual embedded Broadcom® NetXtreme II™ 5708 Gigabit2 Ethernet NIC. My guess is it's a driver problem but I'm having some trouble installing the drivers with Linux (still new to Linux). This is the driver I found for it on Broadcom's site. If you have any knowledge on this please help. And let me know if you need more information. Thank You.
  2. Forgot to say I have Windows 8 pro 64 bit.
  3. Hi, I went to turn on my computer this morning and when I got to the lock screen and tried to click or press a key to get to the login screen nothing happend. I tried to plug my keyboard and mouse in other USB ports but it still wouldn't work. The keyboard and mouse do work cause I used them in the BIOS without a problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  4. He was just using it normally and when he went to turn it on it wouldn't go.
  5. My friend powered off his computer and came back a couple hours later and its wont boot into windows. Motherboard is MSI z77 GD-65, the debug led is showing 46, 47, 48, or 49 which are not in the manual. There were no previous overclocks or any other issues. Already tried reseating the memory and reseting bios to default. Any help is appreciated.
  6. I have a Dell Optiplex 745 that I'm trying to setup a teamspeak server on but it won't post or anything. When you hit the power button its starts but nothing comes up on the screen. Any suggestions on what to do.
  7. Yea the voltage is locked, Thanks I'll go look for one.
  8. Does anyone know of a good stable overclock for the XFX 7950 Black Editon using afterburner?
  9. Hi, I'm trying to help someone who just got a new graphics card for their computer but it's not being recognized by anything. He has an HP Pavilion p7-1414 desktop (link below) and he just got a PNY Geforce 210 at Best Buy (link below). The guy at Best Buy said the PSU was big enough and that it had the right PCI slot so it should work fine with the HP desktop. But when he put in the driver disk it said no compatible hardware found. Also in device manager only the integrated graphics would show. The card is seated correctly, the fan is spinning, and it doesn't need and external power cable, so I don't think the problem is with power. I had a feeling that in the bios the PCI lanes might not be set to auto detect, so I asked him to go look around in the bios for something to do with PCI. He couldn't find anything there so I thought he could reset the bios to default and he did that but it still wasn't being detected. He also tried to reset it with the jumper but still nothing. This probably means that the default isn't set to auto but besides that I have nothing else to try. The problem is still trying to get the card recognized. Any help will be appreciated. A couple things that I missed, hes running Windows 8 64 bit, when he first got the card he tried to plug it into the monitor but it wouldn't work.
