I know I'm asking for a lot from a monitor but is there anything on the market that's a high refresh rate, 1440p monitor that's also got a USB c input and does 65W Power Delivery? Huge bonus is it has a HDMI output too. My Partner and I share a small flat so we share a desk. In the day she docks her laptop and in the evenings I use it with my computer, Looking to upgrade the monitor and reduce the number of cables on the desk by removing the Lenovo dock that's currently there. Things I'd like from the monitor. - 1440p - Ultrawide Aspect Ratio without a curve - USB C input with 65W PD - Ethernet port for docked laptop - HDMI / DP output - >60hz refresh rate - A picture quality that isn't complete garbage. I'm aware I'm probably not meeting all of these but what meets most of them? Thanks in advance :)

What games do you play / want to play?
-
I think this might help you understand why this has happened. G2A and sites like it are sketchy, that's why the prices are so good.

Nope, MAC addresses are tied to the device not the user, your phone has had the same MAC address since it left the factory
-
It's normally just manufacturer and maybe a modle number, you can always look up mac addresses using a variety of web tools such as this one https://www.whatsmyip.org/mac-address-lookup/

Currently I have a pair of Philips shb3165: they're alright but I find them uncomfortable over long periods, and they don't block out sound enough for my now rather regular 2-3hr train journey to be bearable. I'm looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancelling for around £300 preferably less. I like the look of both the Bose QC 35 II and the Sony WH-1000xM3 but I'm concerned that I won't be able to fit them in my coat pocket due to the way they fold. with My current Philips headphones the earcup's lay flat and pivot into the headband which makes them rather thin when folded. If anyone knows of any comfortable compact headphones that folds a bit smaller/flatter than the Bose or Sony's that'd be awesome. Thanks

I would if I didn't have to move my pc between uni and home every 3-4 months

I like over complicating things

Probably a good idea tbh, not as cool though ?

I'm in a tricky spot. As a Gamer and a Programmer / Pen tester I can't find an OS I'm happy with, what doesn't help is that every VM solution that I've come into contact with ends up failing or just in any way possible being awful. My Solution, Set up unraid, set up 3 VM's: - Windows 10 - Ubuntu or some other distro with a nice gui - A GUI less linux distro to set up smb and share the HDD between the other 2 I was then planning on having one monitor for each system and using synergy to share my mouse and keyboard from the windows machine to the Linux one I have some concerns with how viable this is. I'd want every Machine to have a network connection and also be able to communicate with each other. 1. Can this be done with the hardware I have? 2. Could Optane be used to speed up the SMB Share? My Current set up is: Intel i7 7700k ROG Swift Z270i 2x 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V Nvidia GTX 970 (Gigabyte Windforce) 250Gb Samsung 960 EVO 2Tb HDD

Its a mouse pad, Its personal preference and minorly related to the games you play, unless you're a serious gamer they'll be virtually indistinguisable from each other...

New PC build freezes on motherboard logo when opened by on/off button
Jekub replied to jerry k's topic in Troubleshooting
Just confirm this for me as im not 100% sure I understand 1) You shutdown your working PC come back to it some time later, press the power button and you are greeted by an ASRock logo and the computers stays there indefinatly 2) From this ASRock logo screen, pressing the restart button reboots the computer and it boots straight into windows 3) Before you turn the computer on, turning the PSU off and then on and then pressing the power button boots into windows Are these always true, sometimes true or not true at all? -

Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC fans not turning on
Jekub replied to lawilson97's topic in Graphics Cards
I had an issue with a 0rpm fan on a psu never spinning up causing my system to shut off, I sent that back and got a refund, sounds like you should do the same
