Will an i3 with 2 cores and hyperthreading be able to play a game that states a min system requirement of quad core assuming all else is equal?

I was planning to do that anyway. I'm looking for a place to do that.

I have a motherboard with HDMI and a GPU with mini-HDMI, and no min-HDMI cables. Can I plug my monitor into the motherboard's HDMI port and still use the GPU for the computing part, or will it default to by CPU built-in graphics?

Two Dell Dimensions from about 8 and 12 years ago, and a Nobilis from I have no idea how long ago. All three contain normal parts like you might find in a really shitty gaming rig.

I have an i3-2130, and I need a motherboard to match. I'll be gaming, but obviously not overclocking. Which chipset should my motherboard have? Are there any specific motherboards that you suggest below $100?

Will there be any clearance issues that would force me to get lower profile RAM or CPU cooler?

IT'S NOT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE SOLVED BY WAITING. I WILL NOT HAVE ANY MONEY UNTIL DECEMBER. THERE ARE ONLY TWO OPTIONS HERE, AND YOU ARE IGNORING THEM.

There is only a $100 or less difference between the 970 and the 280X, and that is not enough for any decent phone, much less the OnePlus One, which is $250/300.

I would use the phone quite a bit. Also, my current phone is so bad that it would almost be worth it just for the calls and texts. My phone occasionally just drops the keyboard when I'm trying to text, or has the keyboard up when I'm calling in the way of the hang up button.
