  1. Freeze. Does the windows thing where the particular program goes greyed out. Not blue screen.
  2. Hey guys, The problem is this: 2-3 times a day I get an issue where every program open crashes at the same time, and then windows crashes so that I can't do ctrl+alt+delete or interact with anything. I've tried just waiting to see if it sorts itself out but to no luck. The only solution is a power-off on the case, restart, and hope I'll be able to do whatever I need to do before it breaks again. I've been having many issues with this computer for the 2 years I've had it. It has had multiple fresh installs of windows but it only ever takes a few months before a new issue arises. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. I've got 16GB Ram, Intel 3770k running at stock voltage and clock speed, GTX 660 and a 512GB SSD from Crucial. Any ideas/help would be much appreciated. I'm not really sure what to try. George
  3. Wow, that's a lot of stuff being given away.
  4. Clearly the best channel on YouTube. Learnt so much from you guys. Best episode? Hmm... The hipster ssd commercial. :-D
  5. Oh ok. I'll do a bit of research for some 512 gb ssds. That crucial one looks decent though
  6. Thanks. I'm probably going to say something stupid now, sorry. I thought that raid0 increased the performance of a drive and having 2 fast drives could be sped up so that it was better than 1 fast drive. I don't really know.
  7. Hello All, My system has been running off of a slow-ish hard-drive for the last year or so and I recognise that I need to invest in a SSD. I am thinking of buying 2 840 pros (256 gb) and putting them in RAID 0 however my motherboard only supports 2 SATA 3 ports which would mean my storage hard-drive would be very sluggish. Should I a) Buy 2 840 pros and ignore the slow hardrive issue. Buy 1 840 pro but have less speed and capacity yet have a faster harddrive. c) Buy a different SSD - My knowledge on SSDs isn't that great (You may have guessed) ? A new motherboard isn't an option as I don't have the largest budget. Any advice would be appreciated. George
  8. I like the extra battery life on the Z2 compared to other phones. I like dbrand because I like to have a personalised phone
  9. I love the amazing build quality.
  10. That seams logical. I don't know what I heard about the HDMI thing then. Thanks for your input; and I'm definitely not using VGA ;) George
  11. Yes, I want all 3 monitors to have pretty much the same quality just so that they look good together. So the adapter is what i'll be using. Its interesting what you said though. George
  12. Thanks. Ok. I've heard that using HDMI loses some quality. I think I will just go and by an active DP to DVI adapter. Thanks anyway. George
  13. Thanks. Shame but I thought that might be the case.
