  1. I picked this game up quite a while ago, but never spent any serious amount of time playing against people. I wanna get way better at this because I'm struggling to get positive KDRs and I feel like a liability to my team most of the time. Any tips for newbies? I have some experience in fps games, but I'm used to running and gunning and this game seems to really discourage that.
  2. Today I turn 30. Dear god why.....

  3. ITT People concerning themselves with how other people dress, which has literally no effect on their lives whatsoever. Sad actually...
  4. Awww yiss! New guitar day today. :3

Traded my Jeff Loomis 7 string for an Ibanez Premium RG870QMZ. I have another 7 string, so I figured having diversity would be nice.

  5. Things have been too crazy as of late. I'm really looking forward to things settling down some. Chaos should be in my music, not my life...

I find in my own life--when there's the possibility for something bad to happen, it happens with not a moment to waste. It's pretty damn crazy how something like Murphy's Law actually proves to be true nine times out of ten. Also random commenting!

  10. Well looking at ziftr.com it shows that you can buy computer components on the site and they're actually pretty cheap. My guess is that Ziftr will want to (obviously) make it to where you can buy things on the site using ziftrcoin. The whole point of me mining is just so I can find a way to fund getting new tech to play around with, so this would be pretty neat once they implement it.
  11. Well there's ziftrcoin which is currently CPU based with plans to become GPU based soon. Still, a Pentium 4 verses some of the xeons and 5960Xs that are mining there kinda mandates that you join a pool. Even then, don't expect too much as it's based on contribution as to how much you get. Honestly, your rig is good for HTPC and some gaming, but you're gonna need beefier hardware if you wanna mine and make something from it.
  12. Just earned my 1,000,000 points, so here's to hoping that @Whaler_99 gets my PM and I get my shiny new badge.
  13. Yeah when I started mining, each ZRC was worth 75 cents USD. Given that you get almost 4 ZRC per block mined, I thought I was raking in about $3 USD per block. It's fallen waaaaaaay down in value since then, but not enough to where it would be pointless to mine. That's why I would recommend prospective miners spend some time on cryptsy every time before mining to try and get an idea of what their coins will be worth and to evaluate and see if the money they're spending on power consumption is worth the amount they're making. For me, the answer was no until I saw that pools are starting to form. I was tired of seeing my computer run all day at 90 Celsius and not see a single coin for my trouble. Now that there are pools going to where I could earn at least SOMETHING for the work I put in, I may get back into it.
  14. killjoy makes amazing videos on this subject, so of COURSE I'd love to see a video on joining a pool! I was so frustrated with not getting any more coins that I actually went back to folding. It would be nice to mine again.
  15. www.cryptsy.com I use this site for trading coins and also for buying them.
