Not sure whether to put this in software or in the peripherals section of the forums.
I'm looking at getting a mechanical keyboard but I'm not sure if the mechanical keyboard sound would distract me from working.
Do any of you know of a program that replicates the sound of a mechanical keyboard through speakers?

Ah, true.
Well, I'm out of ideas. Hopefully someone else might have a solution.

I also don't think that it is much of a threat to the next generation. Maybe after that, they won't exist but at the moment, the internet isn't ready. Most of America has incredibly expensive internet and data caps who just can't afford to pay for the amount of internet they would need to stream games.
When ISPs get their act together, the world of gaming is going to be completely different from how it is now.

Its not a bad keyboard as it is made by ducky which would have a great build quality. You could also check out Coolermaster's mechanical keyboards.

let me rephrase that. for gaming, high end audio solutions are not necissairy. for hearing a dude walk up on you, you dont need custom one pro's

headsets are not good, and 5 dollar earbuds work just as good as 80 dollar headsets

Here is the problem. You'll spend 3-4 years doing your degree and cross your finger that HP is still interested in such position.
Then you'll need 5+ years inside to bringing meaning to the degree, and then what? Not recognized anywhere.. see if it was: Computer Science: Automated System Option (just an example of a made up option), then this is great!
You have Computer Science, which you could just mention this on your resumer, and if you want to mention the Option.. then it's just an option.. meaning you have all the grounds and everything related to Computer Science, and you have a focus on embed and automated systems, which is even better, as embded system would mean that you know in greater details on how a computer works, you know how to read through CPU and its architecture documentation, to programs things more efficiently and do things better, which opens you doors in programing P.O.S system, mobile devices, and a lot more.
Also, what's the wage at HP, for this specific job? If it's lower than Computer Science, then it's not worth it. And if it's higher... what's the max? and how does it compare with Computer Science.
Computer Science is not much of a problem if you:
-> Know your stuff very well, including Java, C/C++, Data structures, Operating Systems and Networking.
-> You have personal projects outside of school, which demonstrate your interest in software development, and creativity. OR your participation to competitions OR open source projects

Adam_Cr1 reacted to colonel_mortis in HTML wrapper help please!
Personally I would have it at the end absolutely positioned with javascript getting the height of the elements that you're extending and setting the height from that, but there might be a pure CSS way of doing it that I'm not thinking of right now. Center the main wrapper normally using
margin: 0 auto -
Adam_Cr1 reacted to colonel_mortis in HTML wrapper help please!
If you're trying to do what I think you are, you need to either use multiple divs or have a background image that has the colours (although obviously this doesn't allow multiple the size of the content to dynamically affect the size of the blocks. You might have to look into having some javascript messing around with the sizes though.

I realise this is answered, but an alternative to this would be to use the 'line in' on your pc and plug the headphones into your pc unless ofcourse your on a laptop or your pc does't have line in.
