look at the bright side of it, if your family knew you were good with computers you'd be fixing theirs all the time ^^

You sir should stop shooting yourself in the foot and get an SSD. If you are not satisfied, I'll buy you a beer.

Alex(PlayMedium) got a reaction from raptorjesusthemessiah in Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?
I tried to apply thermal paste to the CPU with the case standing up. My old video card and motherboard heatsink still have residue on them, thank god it was not conductive
How exactly can a CPU end up in a pocket?

Alex(PlayMedium) reacted to LAwLz in It gets easier to hate on Oculus with the latest story.
Why hate on him for that? I actually agree with him on this.
Why be in the real world if you could simulate the same or a better world?

For all you people saying, that aesthetics don't matter:
If there were two coolers, with the exact same specs & price, but one was the color you prefer and the other one has a color you don't like, but performs marginally better. Which do you choose? The good thing is that not everyone will answer the same:
Some will say, that they want the best performance, no matter what, some say they don't mind the slightly lower performance and most people will go away and laugh at us people who spend this much money on a piece of metal and debate for hours over its color.lawl

I find it sad that such sources aren't scientific enough. Professors allways make their invention sound kinda magical to make it appealing to the masses. I'd really like to know how it works.

Alex(PlayMedium) got a reaction from simson0606 in Noctua Display Industrial Fans And They Are Black!
This was a great move I think, with the brown rubber thinghs they still have something that says "Hey, this is a Noctua fan" but these can also easily be removed and dyed for a completely black noctua fan, ohhh, nerdgasm :D

1) There's an ounce of tentacle porn or hentai on the hard drive.
2) Yes, very large. The hard drive better not fail on me any time soon, or else be pissed.
