Obviously anything you put into your ears is going to be unsafe if not used appropriately.
 
However, at moderate volume levels it's perfectly safe. And your statement about not having a seal so you have to "crank up the volume to dangerous levels to hear anything" is beyond false. I can hear everything just fine... I think I'll save myself the time and not watch the useless video you posted. The 2,000+ positive ratings provide enough justification.

Most likely wasn't close enough and boosting the volume in windows made it sound noisy. Its why I got the yeti over it, for the settings. 
 
If I had to choose one or the other, I'd go with the zalman. The antlion's premium isn't worth it. 

It is. I'm pairing it with my Philips Fidelio X1/28 headphones. It's also great for mobile devices, it is pretty small.
 
Sound is amazing. 

Not sure about the PC version.

NF-F12's are 120mm and is pretty much Noctua's loudest fan.
Not a bad option if you don't need fans atm.

I only play games that have boob physics. 

It depends on what you're doing. The difference is pretty apparent when used for some decent scratchdisk work.

I was considering ordering a few more of these fans for my custom rig, and now they're apparently not listed on Newegg anymore.

Not entirely true, as you'll need something to help build credit.
 
Having a credit card to use on groceries or gas and paying the bill on time...it'll certainly help you build up your credit score. 
 
Edit: Getting a new credit card won't hurt you. Not paying the bills will, and having a credit card and not using it may also affect your credit score. 

The game is awful, avoid at all costs.
