  1. Ah, I see. Found the ROG Strix X570 on sale for almost the same price, so I'll change it out for that anyways.
  2. Not comfortable starting to mod a mobo on my own, but thanks for the suggestion
  3. That was the first thing I tried. No luck, doesnt even post.
  4. Ok, wanted to check for a solution before RMA. Thanks!
  5. Should this be necessary? If I need to buy extra hardware, wouldn't it be better to RMA?
  6. I got the B550 Tomahawk with a 5600X, and need to update the BIOS. I followed this guide: Using only the 24-pin and the CPU 8-pin on the mobo, no CPU or RAM or anything. I got a FAT32-formated USB stick with only the BIOS file renamed to MSI.ROM. My PSU is a Corsair RM850 from 2014, but I don't think that is the problem, since it worked fine in my old rig. When I push the "Flash BIOS" button, it starts blinking as in the guides. Then the MOBO LEDs turn on, as in the guides. The problem is the LED for "Flash BIOS" never stops blinking. Had it going for over 2 hours, still blinking. The debug LED for CPU is also lit, without having a CPU in the socket. I've tried clearing CMOS, tried another USB stick, tried an older version of a BIOS update. Took everything out of the case, and off the mobo. First time I tried to flash the USB stick had another format, FAT, but I reformated to FAT32. The PC won't post without updating. Is the mobo bricked? Did I do anything wrong? Sorry for wall of text, trying to add as muchdetail as I can. Thanks
  7. Well, this is pretty embarrassing. Seems like the middle light which means that the powerlines are synced properly were illuminated by the power and ethernet leds. The powerline was for some reason not properly synced, and after I synced it, everything works fine. Thanks for the help, I can't believe I was stupid enough to not check the powerline properly.
  8. Yeah, DHCP is working fine on everything else. My powerline units are synced.
  9. I have a problem with my PC running Windows 7 64 bit where the DHCP server of my ASUS RT-N65U is not able to give an IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. The Local Area Connection adapter now has an APIPA IPv4 address (169.254.205.64), and the subnet mask 255.255.0.0. There is no default gateway. It is set as an Unidentified Public Network even though it is my home network. This happened after I left my VPN over the night, and it had disconnected during the night. I looked at ipconfig in Command Prompt and saw the APIPA address, so I set up a static IP address (192.168.1.101), subnet mask (255.255.255.0) and a default gateway (192.168.1.1). This did not solve the problem, and the troubleshooter couldn't find the problem. I therefore reinstalled the network drivers, but this did not solve the problem. Resetting the router worked the first time this happened to me, but does not help now. I have tried everything I could find of guides, but nothing has solved my problem. My motherboard is ASUS Maximus VI Gene with Intel Ethernet Connection I217-V, connected with ethernet to my router through powerline. I am writing this on my laptop connected to the same router through WiFi. Does anyone have a clue on what I can do to fix this?
  10. I would assume you could spare some money by using a price guide. I found edbpriser.dk after some googling. Another thing I want to point out is that Komplett is expensive compared to other stores like NetOnNet and Supersmart here in Norway, and by looking at edbpriser I can tell it is the same in Denmark. Try looking at other stores, some of them even have free shipping.
  11. Looks like you can install it as a regular app without root from a SD card.
  12. I understand it if you want a smaller phone, but newest version? Besides some gestures, there isn't much difference between the S3 and S4 mini in terms of software as far as I know.
  13. Why would you buy the S4 mini when the S3 is cheaper and more powerful?
