Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. I know it's an OEM drive. As it is branded as a HP drive with the serial number SMKR6000S5xeN7.2 But my question is if its possible for its functionality to have been restricted by HP.

So I've been offered 5 6TB HDDs. They are HP SMKR6000S5xeN7.2 Seagate Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDD 6TB, The Seagate PN is ST6000NM0034 The guy seems to think they will only work in HP 3 Par storage solutions. This seems like rubbish to me. I've never heard of proprietary Hard Drives. Any help would be appreciated. I would love to get them as it's not every day you get offered full on enterprise drives for less than a kidney!

To my knowledge. HDMI doesn't support the 21:9 ration until HDMI 2.0. Its the shape of the screen thats the problem. not the amount of pixels.

Hi everyone. I've got a little bit of a dilemma. I have a 4k HDMi 2.0 receiver with all HDMI. Including 2 outputs. Now I would like to connect the ssecond output to my monitor a 21:9 2560x1080 http://www.dell.com/ed/business/p/dell-u2913wm/pd however this monitor has an older HDMI standard that doesnt support 21:9. So I need to find a way of getting the HDMI 2.0 converted into DP 1.2 . There is active converters out there but i thought they where only one way?! i.e. dp to hdmi not the other way round. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
