    It is definitely NOT worth buying right now. SO not worth spending the money right now. 1440p is a lot better for right now since it's not even that much of a gain.

    How old is the computer? Also, I'm sure the teacher will understand if you can prove that your computer is not working. Try taking a video of it and showing it to them if you're unable to resolve it. If you can, if your parents have a computer, take the HDD and put it in their computer and work on it from there. 6 beeps means there is something wrong. I don't know what, but other people will be able to help you a lot more than I can.

    What exactly do you mean? Do you need a new membrane rubber thingy that goes between your keys and the contacts? I'm really not sure what you mean Edit - Or do you need new key caps

    Of course there are a lot of people on this forum that are more geared towards the PC and window/linux etc. The YouTube channel features mostly coverage on things about PCs and PCs only, therefore that is what a lot of the community it based off of. Intuitive or not, it's all a gimmick, either-way both mac and windows are fine for video editing. It simply comes down to personal preference. On a budget going with a Windows PC for video editing is the way to go to get the most possible bang for your buck. Look at Linus' Scrapyard wars, they spent $300 buying used parts and were able to run games really well, and I'm pretty sure if they were able to run the games like they did, then they'd be decent for video editing. You could easily snatch up a decent enough PC for the amount that OP is looking to pay made from new parts that would be able to conquer in video editing just as well as a mac.

    Sweet! Also, You would also maybe be interested in some well-made floor mats because they're always nice too.

    It does not require extra power, depending on your budget you could go for something better, but something better would require extra power.

    Yeah but seat covers keep the seats even more nice over time. And like other users have said, if it was sitting for 9 years, it definitely should be serviced. Even if it was started regularly

    This sounds like a bad sales pitch, trying to get him to go with a mac. If he has his heart set on getting her a windows PC (It will also have more longevity with the ability to be fully upgraded) So I don't see why you keep trying to push him to the Mac.

    You might have malware or virus(es), so you want to install some anti-virus(es) Or it may just be a certain program causing some issues. http://windows.micro...ntials-download First, install this, run it, a full scan, see if it finds anything. https://www.malwarebytes.org/ Then use that, to see if that finds anything. Before you install those, uninstall everything else, all the cleaning programs, uninstall, them, even CCLeaner. Once you have run Malwarebytes and MSE, then you can get CCleaner again. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner Download it from there, the official CCleaner website. Chose the pro version trial so that it will download from the piriform website rather than the filehippo website they host the free version download on. Then you need to select everything in the Applications Tab of CCLeaner And then in the windows tab, select everything, so it looks like this:

    You can get a free trial of amazon prime, so you should try it out first and then keep your $100 until you decide if it's really worth it.

    I'm not really sure what could be causing this, but if it's Sprint then you're going to have a horrible time with Customer service, as you can probably already tell. Are you near a WiFi network at all? Maybe try turning WiFi off and then try using 3g.

    I don't think that's normal... Maybe look at some reviews of it, I believe linus has an old review of it. I don't remember there being something distinctly listed with a function for varying resistances with the mouse. Maybe look into that and take it back and try and get it replaced.

    18k Gold melted down and sold off? You're going to get almost nothing out of it. Really, if you pay $10k for the watch you're not going to get anywhere near that if you melted the gold down and sold it.

    Yes, he needs to tell us what mouse it is. But, you guys need to quote him, because it usually does not notify a user if t hey don't select the "Follow this thread" option when they make the thread as it not selected by default. He is now offline and you'll probably have to wait a while before he comes back online to figure it out

    My point exactly, They copied SO many damn things from other companies and then sued them for infringement. I understand my friends who prefer Apple because they were introduced to Apple products by their (not knowing) parents family and they know it, and don't like switching fair. But I still say that it is an easy switch, and depending on the device you switch to, it is easy to get used to.

    There is not going to be that much gold in the watch itself, they probably say solid gold to make people think the whole damn thing is gold, when, really, there isn't going to be that much gold, maybe a few mms thick because you still have to fit the battery, screen parts, Bluetooth receiver, WiFi receiver, etc. etc. in it. You're not going to very much money AT ALL from the device if you try to buy it and then scrap the gold.
