  1. By the way consider that the 4790k is a hell of a processor, the most powerful one in the 1150 socket... Stock cooler could only be fine if that beast isn't overclocked/overvolted and if you don't keep it full load for a long time. Gaming should use only a few cores, but benchmarks and editing are really going to put some stress on that 4790K.
  2. Man, the 660 costs the same as the 960... I strongly suggest you to always spend your money on the newest hardware, that at least isn't obsolete. Then, the 960 is way more powerful than the 660.
  3. Just tell to the Windows installer to format the disk before installing the OS, or tell it to install Win over an already existing system if he asks so.
  4. Btw don't buy a 970 SC, buy SSC instead. They should be the same price on EVGA website. SSC is meant to be the v2 of SC, so there's no point in buyng the older one.
  5. the best for gaming is the i7 4790K, it has the fastest single core performance you can get
  6. Yeah, of course there are horses, that's an underwater game, must add em to my to-do list
  7. Which title do you think would better fit an horror game? I'm planning to make an horror game and thought you guys could tell me what do you think in the poll. Anyways do not expect anything about the game, I've just started it and I probably will never finish it.
  8. Quite two years ago i bought a new laptop, because the integrated GPU of a Core2 duo wasn't good enough for 3d rendering. I went with Nvidia but I didn't really know anything about PC hardware. Then I started searching and learning about tech and now I just love it.
  9. Yeah, Titans are oriented to a more serious workload than gaming, if you don't have problem with money they're the best choice. Anyways I would go with Titans black in SLI, Titans Z are too overpriced.
  10. you WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT... $90k? so much money. you were really lucky mate
  11. that's somewhat inspiring
  12. Try Enermax twister pressure, they're quite the same that are used in the Enermax liqtech and have 3,845 mm H2O at 1800 RPM http://www.enermax.co.uk/fans/twisterpressure/ .
  13. Yeah, this could help you. Watercooling the cpu is always useful to reduce the heat scattered around the case. But anyways if you had an heatsink with a fan in the direction of the case airflow, things should be quite right (for airflow, but not for temps).
  14. But wait, how do you power that ssd? USB to Sata is ok but without Sata power to it it's impossible to use...
