  1. Just did a fresh install and now im getting this error Unable to GPT format the disk "da0": gpart: geom 'da0': File exists At this point im seriously considering trying a different OS. FreeNAS seems to just be buggy af
  2. Im using a SAS card configured to passthrough SATA so the controller shouldnt have any issues... Its beginning to look like FreeNAS just slows down when I add a 5th drive to the array
  3. Ok just tested each drive as its own share. They all read fine, this is looking to be more a FreeNAS issue now
  4. Well its a brand new array so thankfully I can do that. Gonna suck though Im gonna test over FTP to make sure it isnt SMB then see if there is one disk with issues... Wish me luck ;-;
  5. Just did a DD test... Same read results. Any suggestions on how I can test to try and figure out whats causing this?
  6. Im about to do a dd test from the array to the SSD the os is hosted on, But none of the disks in the array should be bad they are all brand new minus two which I was just using and were working fine on my windows system
  7. Z-1 and 6x4TB. I just tested with a single disk volume and got the normal 114mb/s write that you would expect... So its something to do with having more than one drive in the array I think
  8. Im accessing a FreeNAS network share via a p2p 10Gbe Adaptor. I can write to the array at over 500MB/s but when reading I only get 25MB/s...Do you have any idea of what could be causing it to be so slow? I have tried without Raid, just one spanning volume and have had the same issue. Compression dedupe etc is off...
  9. Yes and it works fine... I dunno I think its just not gonna work
  10. I can boot without the card and the bios works fine. It only locks up when the card is installed
  11. It's not a driver issue since it won't go into the boot menu. It just gets to right before it attempts to boot and then locks ip while it's in the bios.
  12. I was able to get into it before and tried disabling it running at boot but it dosnt seem like I can
  13. It boots fine without the broadcom network adaptor in it but as soon as I add it it hangs on this screen... Any ideas?
  14. I think you should just respect your mouse's decision to sexually identify as a keyboard.
  15. Sorry for being a bit inactive lately, been busy with uni... If you have any issues with the script then please just contact me here or on discord Im hoping to push out a update in a few weeks with some big changes and fixes but I'm very uncertain on a ETA atm... If you have any cool idea's or suggestions on what you would like to see in the next release do message me though, Im always open to adding extra features.
  16. Version 3.7.0 - Lots of new features, Major bug fixes & More Colours (GitHub) Release 3.7.0.zipInstall.zipUpdate.zip This release has a large amount of new features added, which are covered in the Settings Guide. A short summary of features added are: Sorting channel videos into seasons based on the Year or the Month they were released. Important, for this to work you need to change the Plex Library setting for seasons to only hide single seasons, this is covered in the plex guide. Ability to change download server if you get a slow speed from NA Ability for format the filename with the date the video was released, thanks to @rob1998 for the sample code. Note this might break plex ordering so use at your own risk. Added ability to have the script auto repeat itself based of a user set time. You can either enable this or setup your own way of looping the script to have it run hourly etc. Integrated plex section rescan and metadata updating into the script to reduce disk usage from re-scanning every time the script runs to only when new videos are downloaded. Thanks to @jt999 for the feature request. Below are the Major Bugs that have been fixed in this release: Finally fixed the session issue that has been around since 3.1.0, Anyone using forceLogin you should now be able to set this to false! Doing so will greatly improve script performance Fixed naming of episodes for plex where having multiple " - " after the season and episode numbers would break episode ordering. This will require a redownload of videos to fix previous episodes, and may cause the script to redownload videos that aren't downloaded using the new naming scheme. Full Changelog Install Guide If your updating then just download the Update.zip extract it to your install folder and run it. It will automagically update all the needed files and move your settings over.I suggest double checking that everything is correctly updated in the settings.json though it should move your old settings over properly. For people who are doing a fresh install just follow the below guides: Installing the Script & Downloading Setting up Plex As always if you run into any issues you are free to Create a issue here, Contact me on Discord @sirInrix | <3#6950 or Leave a comment on the LTT form post
  17. There will be a big update coming out tomorrow. If anyone wants to help in testing it before the release please just contact me and Ill add you to the discord group.
  18. Sweet. If I needed to try and find a cable with a different length what should I look for/search in ebay? I was looking for ages last night with a friend trying to find cables but couldnt find anything
  19. Awesome! Thanks so much, I'll probably do that then! Are the fiber cables very delicate? Like would it be a good idea to try run it across the ceiling versus having it run along the skirting? Itl probably have to go under the door to my room but I could likely pad it with something to protect it.
  20. O, So would I just buy two of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/MNPA19-XTR-10GB-MELLANOX-CONNECTX-2-PCIe-X8-10Gbe-SFP-Network-Card-RT8N1/142658266831?hash=item21371866cf:g:Nw8AAOSwJWFaXi5m and these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/10GBE-For-Mellanox-ConnectX-2-Single-Port-SFP-Network-Card-MNPA19-XTR-transceiv/161799895137?hash=item25ac067861:g:47UAAOSwyQtVxS8n And then I can just plug this fiber cable https://www.ebay.com/itm/15M-10G-OM3-Armored-Cable-Fiber-Patch-Cord-LC-to-LC-3-0mm-MM-50-125-Duplex/112622569406?hash=item1a38d407be:g:Qi4AAOSwNWxZ9rgm into them? Or would I need to fiddle more with the fiber?
  21. Do you know where I could get the fiber from/how expensive it is for say 15m? I've never done SFP+ stuff so sadly I'm not that well informed on how to set it all up/what to look for when getting parts. Id love to be able to use it though, I just couldn't find any fiber that wasn't under like 300+ NZD for 15m
  22. Oh also I dont know if FreeNAS supports that card That was kinda why I ended up considering going with a SMBMultichannel setup because the only "supported" cards I could find were much more expensive... Do you know if FreeNAS would actually work with those cards you linked?
