  1. Alright, I'll look into that. I'm using a BeQuiet! Straight Power 10 CM 800W (Gold)
  2. Gotcha. Suppose Heaven is the better alternative? The issue remains no matter how I choose to stress the GPU, bad software of game.
  3. Sadly, this behavior is the same no matter what i toss at it. Game or stress test.
  4. Hello. It's been a while, but I quite recently bought a used 2080ti. There's really no big problem or defect with it, as i might have feared when first deciding to set my sights on it. However, I've got this odd and annoying problem where it somehow 'breaks' the limits I set on it - overheat - and cause a hard reset during extended sessions. This is running furmark, and for some reason it thinks 2010MHZ is equivalent to about 1800MHZ. The card is an MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO 11GB Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  5. I had the RAM in the recommended slots, but windows only picked up 8GB. In A1 and A2 it picked up 16GB. Well, i guess i solved it by just tinkering with it. Now windows picks up 16GB in A2 and B2. Thanks anyways guys, i appreciate the fast respose Have a nice day, unless it's night wherever you are. Thanks.
  6. It has recommended memory configurations depicting one stick in A2 and one in B2.
  7. So, here i am with a new motherboard, an Asus Z170-A and two sticks of 8GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR4. My question is, does it matter if i place my RAM in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2. The reason for this being, my system doesn't detect both, if the RAM is placed in A1 and B1 for example. Will this configuration affect performance, or am i fine?
  8. I'm using DiplayPort, since it's the only one available for the monitor..
  9. I've tried messing with both the monitor settings and the Nvidia control panel settings, no luck. I'll keep searching for now, thanks for the replies
  10. So, here i am with a new monitor. An AOC G2460PG and i can't for the life of me figure out why my old Samsung SyncMaster T220 looks better. So, for the full story, i purchased an Asus PB238Q a while ago and couldn't seem to calibrate it to not get the brightest but most crushed blacks i've ever seen. I looked around and thought i had just got a bad monitor. so i purchased this AOC G2460PG and i seem to have a similar problem with it. The blacks are bright and look washed out, almost as if there's a thin filter making them a sickly eyesore. The whites are fine but very cold compared to my old Samsung. Could the graphics card or the PSU be a factor in this? My PSU has been acting slightly strange as of late. I tried using F.lux and it makes the display colors warmer but makes it look like i have 85% gamma turned on. So, both of my current monitors are TNs and the old Samsung has some very good looking blacks and darker colors overall. While having a nice yellowish white that is kind to the eyes. I really need some advice here. I'll leave these pictures here: Samsung - AOC
  11. So, here i am with a pair of broken AKG 452s, on to the next contender i guess. I've been looking around for a nice pair of portable, yet good sounding headphones for a couple of days. Here's what i've found so far. 12. Off contract, i've got a provider and service i'm comfortable with. And yes, it's a bit all over the place with pricing. It might differ as i live in Sweden.
  13. So i've had my HTC Desire HD since early 2011. It's been causing a bit of a fuss over the last few months, i think it's time to wrap it up and give it to my mom. As experts i expect you guys to throw some suggestions my way in terms of a phone that will last me about 2 years of general use. I'm looking for something in the 200-450$ range preferably, it does help if it's durable, or has a nice protective case available. I've been looking around this jungle you call the smartphone market, i'm at a loss. I'm thinking of an android 4.4 or newer OS and a phone that won't die every 6 hours in my pocket. Preferably with a Micro SD slot. I've been checking out the nexus 4, Asus Zenfone 5 and 6, LG G3, Motorola Moto G and the Samsung Galaxy S5. A Note 4 is too big for my pockets. Thanks in advance for any suggestions regarding this life changing decision.
  14. Thick backplate, how arousing. In all seriousness, i like the idea of supersampling with the new 970 and 980. I would also love to see it in action with older games, i've never owned a Zotac card as they are quite ''rare'' to see in stock. Wish y'all the best of luck.
