  1. @ProKoN, nope i am not using any graphics card. plugging my monitor into the HDMI onboard graphics, i can reach POST and consequently the BIOS, but not the OS. @Legitsu, i enabled both "force to use CPU graphics" and "multi monitor mode" this is weird, i am starting to think my i5 is the faulty one. again, thank you for the help guys
  2. hello, thank you for the quick replies. i have already done the CMOS reset and power cycle/discharge to no avail. @Legitsu, i cannot find where to set the IGP in the tweaker's paradise. one thing worth noting though is that in the BIOS, the "CPU Graphics voltage" is set to AUTO and the voltage is 0.
  3. Hello, I recently bought a Maximus VII Gene with Intel i5 4690 CPU. The system can POST and works when a graphics card (GTX 760) is plugged in the system (system can get to the Windows 7 OS). The issue however is when I remove the GPU (to troubleshoot some random system freezes), the motherboard can no longer detect the monitor. The QCode just cycles from 00 to A2 to AE and back again. I have already adjusted the BIOS Graphics Configuration to force the primary display to be from the CPU Graphics. My BIOS is already the most recent one. And I have installed the latest drivers including the Onboard Graphics driver. Any thoughts on this issue?
  4. i was thinking of buying this fan controller to support more case fans. i am not overclocking and i have stock coolers for my cpu(i5 4690) and gpu(gtx760). is this fan controller a good buy? on a side note i am also thinking of buying the corsair h60 water cpu cooler (is this ovrkill considering im not overclocking?)
