Hey. Finally finished my color mod for my Corsair Air 540. Took absolutely ages to complete because the weather in the UK is absolutely shocking most days! haha
 

 
 
Things I would change? I'd have picked a darker red personally. The color I used was "Ford Sunset". It has a very slight orange tint to it, but I'd prefer that instead of an over-the-top strong red. It looks a lot less orange IRL than the photo shows. Also, the corsair logo sits a bit weird in the recessed bit on the front panel because of paint build up around the masking tape I used. (Pictured below)

Try buy some of that rubber u-channel stuff to hide the edges of the windows. I can see how roughly cut they are when i look carefully at the picture. That would solve that problem. But other than that, it looks good!

Regardless of who had the most negative experience with what, both companies have some questionable quality control with their high end monitors. I personally had problems with an Acer monitor I bought. The IPS 144hz 1440p gsync model. Horrible backlight bleed and couldn't get over the intense IPS glow. 
 
Get whichever you want and if you are dissatisfied with it you can RMA it.

Yeah I have- I sent R* an email detailing that I had been hacked and I wanted my username changed back to before. 3 days later and it was!

its the amount of times the screen refreshes per second.
 
which.. 144/30 = 4.8 which is large and round-ish enough to not notice any difference in video content.
 
to explain it simply, the video's frames will stay on the display for 4 refreshes, and every 5th frame will be on the display for an extra refresh if my midnight math is correct, but even if it isnt you get the point.
 
basicly, it's like playing 24FPS content on a 60FPS display, i bet all of you have done it, and havent noticed it.
 
EDIT: i is durr, figured it out: the video's frames will stay on the display for 5 refreshes, and every 5th frame will only stay on for 4 refreshes.
 
for those screaming stutters, thats a 6.9 millisecond difference, on frames that stay on display for an average of 33.3 milliseconds. if you can see that to the point its bothersome when watching a movie you need to apply for the avengers initiative.
or those that want even more values:
- the 4 frames will be on for 34.5ms each
- the 5th frame will be on for 27.7ms
=> 994.2ms total, close enough rounding error wise

The non-ref editions in the UK are about £400-£450 depending on the model. Whether it's similar in euros I have no idea

Dayz has always been a laggy game, regardless of setup. Some people suffer with HUGE lag, some people don't. It's just a POORLEY optimised game I'm afraid

Honestly it looks cool, but it doesn't look like call of duty. It really does look like Halo or Titanfall, and this is coming from a die-hard Halo fan, so I know the series too well. If the game weren't called Call of Duty and featured a completely revamped combat/leveling/equipment system, I would be curious and buy it. As it stands though, it's just another great way of dying fast while a thirteen year old talks about how he banged your mom, only now your corpse floats away in space.

It's safe to say that Nvidia will never make another mistake like that again.
They'd be too scared to.

Better than two 980s in SLI and better than Titan X. SOLD! For such a low price as well for such a decent card. Bye Bye 970s :')

Pre-orders ruin the game industry...however I'm having an internal conflict because I really want to pre-order mirror's edge...I'll probably still buy it anyways if I don't pre-order.
