Hey guys, have a weird issue which is starting to annoy me. Every so often (I've noticed it's whenever I'm on Battlefield 3) this process will start up 'Antimalware Service Executable' which basically completely jacks my system and uses 99% of my 16gb RAM. I het about 1 FPhour and I just have to restart my computer. Any suggestions what this could be? I don't use 3rd party Antivirus, just the built in Microsoft firewall, Windows Defender etc. Running Windows 8. Help?

Two things to try, both in elevated command prompt. sfc /scannow. and if that is all good you wanna powercfg.exe -energy. Perhaps post back the report results.
