  1. Sorry, for the really slow response. (Its the getting to the end of the college semester and I have a lot of stuff to do so I haven't been on the forum) Anyways, I just opened up the client advanced control: configure: slots: edit: and reset the the values I mentioned above to what their default values would have been (usually -1) and tada! It worked! I don't really know why, but it does.
  2. Okay, I was able to fix it. I just had to reset the slot, cuda, and opencl number for the gpu. Simple fix, except when you don't know what your doing.
  3. I do have the latest drivers installed from nvidia,
  4. Hello LLT forum, I recently switched the gpu in my computer from an R9 390 to a gtx 980 ti. However, the 980 ti isn't folding. I tired uninstalling and reinstalling the client, but that didn't work. I also tried deleting the work unit by entering User/Micah/AppData/Roaming/FAHclient/work/01, but deleting that file didn't work either. I am running version 7.4.16. I only folded for a little bit a while ago and I only started again recently, so I have no idea how to fix this stuff. 5. These are the ones I originally got. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D79EV0G?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 Both crap sadly.
  6. So I'm building a custom Computer desk inspired by Lian Li's desks that house the components in the desk with a glass top so you can see it all. I'm doing basically the same thing, however, i need to use a pcie extension/riser to set my graphics card on its side because it is to tall when normally attached to the motherboard. So my question is will this type of riser create lag? link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HZ0M9F2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 I have already read other posts on LTT that the full size ones don't, but I bought two of them already and they don't work half the time. Either they freeze the display or don't display at all. Thank you for your time, - MicahK555
  7. Well there is H1Z1, DayZ mod (many different variants), and Dayz Standalone. I'll assume your referring to the DayZ standalone. The two games are very similar: zombie apocalypse, scavenging supplies, and a lot of KOS. DayZ has a lot more varying items in it and is continually expanding, but the devs are known for being sloooooooooow. DayZ does have great graphics though and looks quite amazing. Although I think without proper base building DayZ gets old really fast as it turns into a super slow paced shooter game (in my opinion). H1Z1 though is also a good game and it included vehicles quickly (DayZ is still working on that), and seems to be more simple but more complete in its simpler way. I don't know which I would say is better as I don't play either very much any more (maybe H1Z1 at the moment?). (I got tired of playing apocalypse games) This is a link to the Dayz Changelog which shows all updates and updates currently being worked on. http://dayz.gamepedia.com/Changelog?cookieSetup=trueNot sure if H1Z1 has something like it though.
  8. I bought the Nvidia 3D Vision, but I would definetly say it isn' t worth it. While playing games in 3D is fairly simple it gets confusing for your eyes. You try to look at something that seems farther away so your eyes adjust their focus, but in reality the object is the exact same distance ( the distance from your eye to the screen) so they refocus and the process tend to cycle endlessly especially when sniping in fps games. Of course you can adjust the depth of the 3D to a shallower setting which does help, but makes things look less real. Overall I found it to be an unthrilling experience.
  9. Waiting for parts to arrive, the anticipation is terrible.
