    Both actually look quite good.

No Reallocated Sectors, which is the biggest flag of a dying HDD. A few raw read errors on the 500GB drive, but that can be caused by anything, such as a corrupted file, so that's not necessarily indicative of much.

The 320GB drive looks to have slightly less wear, overall, but both are in "Good" health. Though a HDD can drop dead on you without warning - but there's no signs that either of these will die anytime soon.

If you don't need the extra space, use the 320GB drive. But if you need that extra space, the 500GB drive should be okay.

Yes. This person was asking if your CPU has a build in GPU. If your CPU can provide video output.

Yes. I had a boss who had a 2008 23" iMac, and we used it for all the business computing needs (It was a gym, so mostly quickbooks, Spotify, etc.). It ran OS X Mountain Lion fine, but supported up to OS X Yosemite. It could probs run El Capitan or macOS Sierra.

For that kind of money you can buy one heck of a pc. You pay for the looks so why not get a nice monitor and buy like a cheap core 2 duo laptop mac and connect that to it, you can watch video's on that too and it's portable.

An intel nuc would also be kind of a cool option, they're newer, cheaper, smaller and performs better in almost every way.

So I wanted to switch to Mac and I founded one used but cheap, iMac 21.5" mid 2011, it is in great condition, it has all papers and stuff he comes with (at least thats what the guy who is selling it says). It has 8gb of ram and i5 processor. I don't know anything about Mac so can anyone tell me what I need to be careful about, what I need to check and what should I have of accessories that came in box. Thank you!

Just why? these iMacs were already under-powered on release imagine nowadays, you're buying pretty much obsolete junk

You need to check the price, it shouldn't be worth more than 200 bucks since it doesn't have a gpu, you're probably better off building a hackintosh anyway. Apple is mostly a bunch of hot air and brand recognition, just look at when they "courageously" took away the headphone jack from the iPhone.

    Stick with Windows.

Your motherboard supplies 75W I believe, 6-pin connectors have a max rating of 75 Watts as well.
    So you should be fine.

if it is stable it is safe.   (not in the case you have got a custom bios with higher than normal voltage limits)

I think I'll pass on that, then. The CPU, mobo, and GPU are not set in stone yet as I'm waiting for Ryzen and Vega to come out before I make a decision. Would rather have a high resolution Freesync panel at this moment.

Make sure you check benchmarks.  Passmark is especially great.  An i5 isn't necessarily better than an i3.  There's a lot of overlap in the generations.

Probably just because it's a dual core with no hyperthreading, if you want better performance get an i3 or i5. Try setting vsync to half, that should help even though you'll only get 37,5 fps

Get some used ram, it practically invincible and much cheaper used. Otherwise, great build!

sorry.. but.. what the FUCK did you do to your cabling? i havent even seen prebuilts that bad.

and as for a more nicer looker fix, bodge the fans of the shroud to something in the range of 5-12 volts (or a header on the mobo) and deal with it that way.

i'd suggest one of those fan controllers with built in temp sensor control, but they are more expensive than what you paid for your card

Might be worth trying to jerry rig a cpu cooler on there and then control the fan using the motherboard. here is a video of a guy doing it, you will need to get heatsinks for the vrm tho (obviously you would get a low profile cooler)

Which is why Intel will never release an unlocked i3. It would be an incredible budget gaming CPU and so many people would buy it instead of an i5.

If you keep an eye on your temps it will be just fine. Anything under like 80 C is good.
