I've been trying out the trial versions of Avira and Avast antivirus and I cannot get my head around which one I should get. I've been reading reviews that say that currently these two are the top antivirus'. What do you think? Which one has the least impact in performance while being good in protection especially when gaming?

Mobile Malware has been on the rise lately and cyber criminals have been using complex ways to infect devices. This trojan has been dubbed "cloudsota". It was recently discovered (at the time of writing this) by Cheetah Mobile when there were a lot of victims asking for help on forums such as XDA Developers and complaints on Amazon by buyers of the dodgy tablets with reports of their tablets going into "demo mode". The team at Cheetah Mobile started inspecting this piece of malware. Source: Cheetah Mobile What they discovered is that when the device boots up, a modified android system file named "SystemUI.apk" checks to see if the "cloudsota" trojan is present. If not, it will overlay a big red "Demo" logo. Even if you try to remove the trojan it will restore itself. The main job of this Trojan is to display ads. When the device boots, it will get information from the control server to get the settings for changing the browser's homepage. The trojan can also: Change the boot animation (most likely an advertisement) Uninstall applications silently (Usually anti-virus apps) Set the wallpaper to an ad Create annoying pop-ups More than 150 countries are affected by this trojan. Mexico is currently the country with the most infected Android Tablets. Don't buy Cheap tablets. Source: http://www.cmcm.com/blog/en/security/2015-11-09/842.html

At school, I was talking to my nerdy friend about quantum computing. Suddenly he said, "Does JW Computers (computer store in Australia) sell quantum computers. Does BenQ make quantum computers? How much do they cost?" I was like

My friend had a square led watch with a shiny surface on it. It looked like the samsung galaxy gear watch so everyone thought it was the "new samsung watch".

Someone on the internet bought a usb flash drive on ebay. When he plugged it into his computer it did not detect anything at all. He opened it up and guess what? He saw this right in front of his eyes. Scammers are getting more creative than ever!

From my experience when a non techie person has a computer problem related to the power supply (like if their computer wasn't turning on), they always assume that some sort of "battery" inside the tower has run out of charge. And btw this is almost for every non techie person I meet with a power issue.

You know that person or in my case a family friend who visits you and looks at ur computer setup and they say "Why do you need three computers?" while looking at your dual monitor setup with another laptop next to it? When that happens, I do this:
