I wouldn't upgrade this at all. The performance difference is not going to be huge unless you're pushing for very high framerates (144Hz+). You can look to spend that money on storage instead, or try to go for a 5600XT/RTX 2060.

    Other component choices are solid.

If you are only going to game, get an Intel CPU, they are better suited for games
    1660 is overkill, what refresh rate is ideal for you? 30 , 45, 60, 120 , 144+?
I have no experience in cases
That psu seems a bit fishy, you should get something like a cooler master, corsair or seasonic PSU

    I'd recommend a ryzen 3 3100 or 3300X, but the 2600X is also a great choice anyway.

The MSI 1660 SUPER Ventus XS OC or the Zotac Twin Fan both sell for 200£

Otherwise the rest seems to be pretty decent.

It also depends whether the fans are exhausting or set to intake.  I like intake cos that means the dust is on the outside, much easier for maintenance.

There shouldn't be a difference to be honest.
When you place fans in pull behind a radiator they probably have a little less access to air, but the difference versus a push setup should be neglectable.

I run option 2 in my matx build by the way.

Optimusgrime reacted to bowrilla in mini itx rad and fan orientation.
There's no significant if any difference between push and pull.

Pull usually means you can just take your vacuum and clean the outside of the rad, pull means, you'll have to remove the fans to clean them - true for intakes especially. For exhaust in a neutral to positive pressure build, you won't have much dust in there as long as your intakes are filtered.

Bottom line: choose what looks best or is the most conventient to build.

1660ti and super versions is not very good for 1080p because dont have much future in 1 year games demands will increase since release of new consoles end of this year but I see you got fx 8350 processor who is not very capable present days so 1660 Super is best choice for you, because is cheaper and give performance almost 1:1 with TI in games

i dont see the point but w/e i do crazy stuff to so ill give you that. i guess if the gpu is all ready using a rizer cable then all you need is a mount for the gpu. there a few cheap ones depending on how you want to mount it.

as for the mb tray the hard part is making a hole for the io shield. you can mount it on stand offs.
then you need something to fill in your old hols.

as for the psu i think it has its own mount i think so just have to cut a new hole and mount that.

Depends on your specific change you want to do but in general extruded aluminium channel is a good start for making brackets and if you need mounting plates sheet acrylic works well.
