  1. Hmm interesting, something i might need to checkout myself for my PC but so far from doing a but more test and a full wipe of the GPU Driver with DDU it seems to be "okay" but is early days. I'll keep this forum/thread open till i find a solution specifically or no changes for at least 2-4 weeks and see. Thanks for the suggestion too
  2. Unfortunately not BUT I did notice yesterday my Nvidia GeForce Experience did pick up on a GPU Update and rather the usual express, I did my usual custom install and checked the option to perform a clean install. This did had to fully reboot my PC unlike other times I've noticed it and it seems okay so far (recently checked out the new cyberpunk patch and seemed stable then, that should be enough to cause this issue like in siege and forza). However of course I did mention back in the main post it is random so I'll do further testing soon and keep an eye on the latencyMon application too and will update this thread/forum when I can (may be a few days, hard to say with this thing )
  3. Thanks for the reply Sjaakie! I'll turn back on the CPU throttling Settings as i just turned it off to a test to see if there was any difference anyway. The Windows install is fresh for this x570 mobo, i just kept the PC Name as Z170 as that's what my 1st PC mobo was and just stuck with it (apologies for the confusion). Temp wise is a bit all over the place IMO. long story short, it was originally in a NZXT H500i Case then moved over to the Corsair 5000D Airflow but kept the same cooler but re-pasted (Corsair H100 platinum). since then, the CPU is running usually 60 to at times above 70 degrees when running anything intensive, GPU however is a mix bag and i have seen it go up to 80 to 85 degrees at times but will gradually climb there. At the time of typing this message, i did run just a brief benchmark in Forza Horizon 5 from launching the game to running the benchmark once, letting it sit for a bit then running it again (2nd run results after the dotted line). Not sure if that is any help in any way but if you have suggestions to test this proper, let me know. (1st forza photo is 1st run, 2nd is 2nd)
  4. not sure if this is the right thread to put it in. I've been noticing that my windows will randomly (not consistent) stutter the audio and display/graphics making it sound like it is going slow motion in an actual video and will only last not even a second. I have upgraded to Windows 11 (full clean install) back in late December/early January and not sure if anyone else has reported this issue (early adopter issues i suppose of course) but i did notice this ever so rarely start to occur even on Windows 10 before the upgrade but was really rare and possibly only once or twice. I have done slight research online and done clean installs of any possible drivers or BIOS etc. Does not matter if just sitting watching a video on YouTube, just listening to music or playing any game (from Forza Horizon 5 to CS:GO or Tower Unite, just to name a few ive noticed it occur on) or have too little or too much apps open, just randomly occurs. At one point just to test i tired to force by having games, iTunes, Edge etc all opened and running and just seemed fine for that day. I have ran the tool "LatencyMon" to try and catch this occurrence for the past few weeks and was just able to attach it now getting this result as per the screenshot Supplied (only apps open at the time of the screenshot was one tab of Microsoft Edge, Forza Horizon 5 sitting on pause menu and iTunes). The suggestion from the app to turn off CPU Throttling i have already turned off as a suggestion from past research but still no difference. Attach as well is basic information on my Sy stem setup. GPU Currently being used is the RTX 2080 Founders. anymore system information needed or any other tools or suggestions etc to run, let me know. Sorry about making this a bit wordy too.
  5. Ok so after doing further research and testing I have figured out the issue and it is kind of stupid. It turns out that my motherboards USB 2.0 headers have issues with the Corsair Commander Pro which is interesting as I didn't seem to have issues in Windows 10. Never the less, connecting it to the NZXT internal USB Hub I had from my old case has fixed the issue. Article I found for this can be found here in case anyone else has the same or similar issues: https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/155326-commander-pro-random-disconnects/
  6. That's what I'm thinking as when I watched Linus' video on Windows 11, I knew I was going to have possible issues at some point going in early. Thought I post in case there was a solution etc. In saying that, I'll also check later the actual USB headers for any USB Devices on the the motherboard itself in case something is off but again, attempting anything at this point and that is kind of absurd to do
  7. I am open to suggestions at this point however, since doing a full clean/fresh install of Windows 11, I have been having constant yet random occurrences of some device that keeps disconnecting as the system sound plays the audio for it. I am assuming this is one of my USB devices issue as it seemed to be my razer mouse only (at the time) after un-plugging almost everything and noticing that it would not move for a second but when re-installing Synapse 3.0, it went worse but played both connect and disconnect sounds. When un-installing Synapse entirely, it was 'better' but still occurring. I tried a different brand of mouse too, still same issue (keyboard seems to work fine, no noticeable issues at this point). I tried to "uninstall" USB drivers for my Motherboard to install again but after each restart, it auto re-installs either "USB Root Hub, USB Composite Device or AMD USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)" and even the ASUS Site for my motherboard does not seem to contain USB drivers (unless I'm reading it wrong). I have also tried to look at Event Viewer and used a 3rd party tool "USB Log View" but still nothing as well. Noticed there was a BIOS Update 3603 to fix USB Connectivity issues and installed that and again, still no difference (even going to the latest BIOS 4021). Again, it does this randomly but always every day. Sometimes there is a minute gap when it occurs again, sometimes 10mins and like I said at the start, I'm open to suggestions at this point as I feel like I tried everything. System Specs: Mobo: ASUS PRIME X570 PRO CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x Memory: 32GB RAM OS: Windows 11 Pro GPU: RTX 2080 Mouse (attempted): Razer Basilisk V3 and Logitech G903 Keyboard: Razer Huntsman Elite
  8. thanks for the quick reply! the reason for PCIE adapter thing in the 1st place was to "try" and get most things all in one and reducing outside clutter/cables. In saying that, I did do reseach before posting this and it has almost come to the point of going external (or micro ATX motherboard as you suggested) but wanted to further confirm this with the community for the final nail in the coffin sort of thing. GPU is understandable for sure as I should of mentioned but i will be using an Nvidia Titan XP founders editon I got a while back (before the high GPU prices of course). I dont suppose you have any recommendations for Micro ATX boards? all good if not
  9. not sure if the right topic area to post this in. I am planning to put together a small form factor personal basic server or stream PC and already got most of the parts for it but with what i am planning to do (if it even is possible) to get a m.2 to PCIE riser/adapter to connect a capture card to. Reason for this is i have chosen an ITX motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix B560-I Gaming Wi-Fi Motherboard) which obviously has one PCIE which ill be using for the GPU but it does have 2 M.2 slots. I was planning to use one for the boot drive and the other for this adapter. Based off this explanation, my few questions are: - would this actually work to connect a capture card to it or will there be any limitations/issues - is there another suggested small form motherboard to at least add anohter PCI etc - if possible to use and m.2 to pcie adapter, what would you suggest/reccomend - or just forget this entirely or go external capture card If needed, the capture card i'm planning to use is the AVerMedia GC573 4K capture
  10. I'm Just curious of what people suggest out in the community in regards to gameplay or screen recording software. I am currently using Nvidia Shadowplay but have come across some issues with it lately. I believe this is something to do with how it records in a variable framerate as when certain games pause during a loading screen, the audio De-syncs (have tried few settings in Sony Vegas and even Handbrake aftrer doing research myself but no luck). Suggestions on fixing this will help or alternative to that, what software do others suggest that is not too taxing on the system. I am aware of OBS but suggestions of recording settings would be nice (for no loss of quality* for 1440p60). to throw more options in, I do own the new M1 Mac Mini and been experimenting with using OBS on it and doing capture card pass through on it but again, quality is an issue... but as said, i am experimenting with that anyway and would possibly be a last resort thing anyway.
  11. Yes I did the Small FFT not the Smallest. did not do large cause ram is no issue
  12. Ok so I finally ran an hour of Prime95 Full load (including L1 2 and 3 Cache) and from my "super impressive spreadsheet", this is what I got (NOTE: This is using the wraith prism stock cooler, Dark Rock was put away at the time as I went back to wraith checking if it was being seated wrong etc).
  13. Definitely gonna take note of that too!!! nice to know your temps too with the prism stock cooler. im also trying to find some sort of Linus video where he showed what to enable/disable in the BIOS of a new setup. I know he did with Intel and something with XMP blah blah blah but im trying to find the AMD/ryzen end of things to make sure i have not skipped anything
  14. hmm ok, nice to take note!! from memory, Task Manager at the time did not advise of high HDD Usage, may need to confirm still
  15. Hope not as this M.2 SSD is fairly new and was fine on the other mobo it was on before my upgrade
