  1. No click the links..... They are both 980Ti's.... Or google the part numbers, again both 980Ti's...
  2. There are 2 models.... NO (real) Factory OC, GV-N98TXTREME C-6GD : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125846&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= and with OC, GV-N98TXTREME-6GD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125837&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
  3. Well the Extreme Gaming has no factory OC and costs more. The Windforce 3x has a small factory OC and is $10 cheaper. The OC'ed Extreme is $40 more... The AIO version is a lot more $... So bang for buck is the G1...
  4. My suggestion over OP's, but I also say wait for he new GPU's but used the 980Ti's as place holders that are viable... 5. just going to point out the motherboard doesn't fit the case.... physically....
  6. Regardless of the CPU I would suggest a SSD, overall performance will improve with one..... The i5 will do video editing but yes it will be slower, it's not like it can't do it, but if your not making money with your work then it's hard to justify the extra cost of the i7... So take that for what you will.
  7. Rig name: The BeastCpu: 6700k @4.7GHzGpu: 980Ti @ 1507/7110Ram: Corsair DDR4-2400CL14 16GB 2x8GBScore: 13656
  8. depends on what you're going to use the PC for... Straight gaming the i5 is fine, if your producing video content and make a buck off of it then the i7 is the way to go.
  9. The big problem is if you use the free Win10 upgrade..... It's licence is HWID locked so changing the motherboard/CPU will most likely cause the LIc to "un-validate" and since you don't get a key with the upgrade it would require a new key... If you have a valid key for your current system just call in and follow the automated service...
  10. Well your basically looking at either a 980Ti as I linked my opinion on why (coming from a reference 980Ti user with a Titan X block on it) or wait for the new GPU's and see what happens in the next 2-3 months.
  11. Honestly I would suggest the Gigabyte G1 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn98tg1gaming6gd Why? Factory overclocked and still a decent price. EKWB makes a full cover block for it, if you want that option. The stock cooler works well if you don't. Gigabyte has used 2 DVI outputs where most others only have 1, in-case you run a multiple display setup that use DVI.
  12. No problem glad to help.
  13. When you have multiple monitors you run them from the GPU. If you have multiple GPU's you run all monitors from the top GPU in the TOP PCI-e slot.
  14. There is no scenario where I would suggest the FX-83xx over the Intel i5-xxxx, at this point AMD is just so far behind when it comes to CPUs.
  15. If your building it in the next couple months build around it, the new GPUs will be here in the next few months. Otherwise yeah 980Ti.
