  1. Hello. I configured my BIOS to use AHCI, but my windows is still using IDE drivers. I've already tried to install OS again and to change to AHCI while in safe mode. I've also tried to reset bios and to change back and forth IDE-AHCI. I can't see a solution. * I can only use SATA 2 with this motherboard. ** BIOS version: F6. Specs: Motherboard: H61M-DS2H (rev 2.1); Windows 10; i3 3240 3.4GHz; SSD Sandisk 240GB; ASUS GTX 960 2GB; RAM Corsair 8GB. Should I manually install a ¨non-compatible¨ AHCI standard driver from device manager? I think this may lead to boot problems and blue screen. Hope someone can help me to figure this out. Thanks!
  2. I'll make some other tests to make sure it is near death I'm not ready to let it die yet, but thanks for the info.
  3. It's a little bit hard to find a LGA 1155 motherboard these days
  4. Selling a motherboard that's not functioning properly?
  5. @Ghostsquidy I have tried to test these parts from my other pc.
  6. Sometimes it feels like it's a little random. It restarts sometimes until it eventually boot. Sometimes it restarts a lot of times, sometimes it's very quick and sometimes I need to remove the battery from the motherboard and insert it again and begin this "cycle" of restarts to boot it up.
  7. I'm having a problem with my PC, it started a few weeks ago. When I power it on, it usually restarts a lot of times before booting and even before passing the BIOS screen and, eventually, the OS. (with a considerable "time" powered on between each restart) I thought that could be a power supply problem, so I changed it and the same problem keeps happening. The thing is that sometimes the "time" powered on between each restart is very short and it would never boot. Then I found out that by removing the battery from the motherboard, from time to time, I would have again those "long times between every restart", and my system would eventually restart a lot of times but it would boot. The motherboard is only 4 years old, so I find it a bit difficult to have had a problem with it, but I don't know anymore. Could that be a problem with my motherboard? Could it be a BIOS problem? Any ideas of how to fix this kind of problem? Couldn't find a solution, I really need help , thanks. Things I've tried: - Replacing power supply (twice). - Updating BIOS. - Replacing motherboard's battery. - Replacing RAM. - Using it without my graphics card. - Changing the operational system. System specs: - WINDOWS 10 HOME EDITION. - GIGABYTE H61M - DS2H. - CORSAIR 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Modular. - I3 3240 3.4 Ghz. - 8GB CORSAIR RAM. - GTX 960 ASUS STRIX 2GB. - BARRACUDA HD 500GB.

  10. I was wondering, what are the main differences? Like FPS consumption, quality, processing usage, etc. Thanks
  11. The GTX 960 has a cooling system that only activate the fans when about a certain temperature to be quiet and preserve the fans, what about preserve the GPU's Chip itself? Working at high temperatures sometimes. P.S: in which temperature of the GPU you have drop in FPS?(average) how much?
  12. I realized that my question was about PSUs and wattage and made another topic. forgot to delete the previous, sorry . btw, thanks, haha
