  1. Do your best to not max out the internal storage. Store data on an microsd card if you can. With how flash storage works, they slow down to a crippling speed as more of it is occupied.
  2. A reported vulnerability is not an actual case of compromise that has beset a real world user Try harder
  3. Which I have said is pointless. There has never been an actual case where the compromise of an Android phhone is attributed to the lack of updates. Feel free to prove otherwise. No loss of functionality. Please provide evidence
  4. Apple's customers can now pay more to get less Everybody wins
  5. FYI the S10 series will be getting Android 11 Not that it matters Dont forget the 900th time I have iterated how updates dont really matter for Android devices. They have never been proven to withhold functionality or save someone's bacon
  6. Reset and/or re-flash the stock firmware. Exactly which model of the S8 are you using? Where did you get it from? And what carrier are you on?
  7. I care more about the device's physical ability to last a long time, than this silly dick measuring contest. Vast majority of people dont even need an ultra fast processor on their phone. Metal back + removable high capacity battery + open for custom ROM development = I will automatically buy
  8. Unless they improve the charging IC on the phone to protect itself from bad chargers, they are just waiting for litigation. They are not Apple where their dumb worshippers users will quietly accept void of claim/warranty for not using an approved charger despite not being given one with the phone.
  9. They say they do this to simplify USB standards. But it's just going to make things worse I think.
  10. No, you should be concerned about the ads on your current phone instead. If you see them now, you will see them on whatever you buy next. Because the ads are a result of the apps you installed.
  11. Isn't WhatsApp's backup done over Google Drive? Google Drive should be available on iOS
  12. Apart from airplane mode somehow being enabled, no idea. Good thing there is the warranty
