HewinFM's Achievements

  1. Linux because I can quickly spin up a VM on my ESXi server and I don't need to deal with licensing for small projects. It's a great OS to learn, and very useful in a homelab environment.
  2. Looks like a really nice option for those who can't run HDMI in their ceiling.
  3. Would love to add the Feenix Autore to my desk. It's so beautiful.
  4. Vessel User: tanilolli Videos: https://www.vessel.com/videos/LCoY5zfFf https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0
  5. I'd love one of these nucs. I'd set it up in the living room with Kodi.
  6. I think the admins deleted the post because he did not provide adequate proof in the post. Edit: yup http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1zg3b8/gabe_newell_ama_100_pm_pst/cftfbio
  7. I've had a pair of the SE215 for about a year, and I really like them. They're a little heavy on the low end, but with some minor EQ they can sound fantastic for the price. The isolation is incredible, and they are crazy comfortable. I haven't tried the others you mentioned because I absolutely wanted earphones that were sculpted instead of just a cylinder with a tip on it.
  8. Yup, looks more like they tried overlaying a screenshot over a regular nexus 7 but forgot to scale properly.
  9. I run a 300 GB Intel 320 Series SSD as my boot and applications drive, a 1TB Seagate for storage of my games, photos, video, and music. I also do nightly backups of both drives to an external 1.5TB WD MyPassport. I run this setup because it's what I have available at the moment. Eventually I'd like to build a storage server with FreeNas.
  10. Spend $10 more and get a pair of Sony MDR-V6.
  11. Tis the season to procrastinate http://twitter.com/tanilolli
  12. I thought it was a little too light. It seems to lift off the mouse surface with very minimal effort, which is not always a good thing.
  13. Last months bandwidth usage was the most I've ever used.
