Go to EK and use their configurator. And if you have questions, write a support ticket. Around here, you're just gonna get people to tell you that your idea is a "bad idea, waste of money, you bought the wrong mb/cpu, you bought the wrong gpu, etc."
 
As for the posters above: how about not just shooting people down, but also offering to help...that way they don't feel like you're insulting them.
 
Example: "I wouldn't water cool that cpu; but if I were to do it, here's how I would go about it....."

It should still work. My old i7 - 920 had dozens of dozens of spots like that. Would probably still work today-if it wasn't on my keychain.

Was just trying to help, not every person of German descent is a nazi. Proper punctuation just makes messages easier to read. Why does everyone feel the need to be so easily offended? "Doh! this person commented on my lack of punctuation, I'm going to call him a name!" What are you? 12?
 
BTW-Grammar is not a part of writing. It's part of language, which is spoken. Spoken language doesn't have any punctuation or spelling, but it does have grammar. SOooooo...If you're gonna call me a nazi, at least use the right term- Punctuation Nazi. Thank you.

Try resetting your psu. Turn off and wait for a minute. Unplug it from the wall. Wait for a few minutes. Plug back into wall and switch on. My psu does this when I have a surge.

THIS...is why people need to know about torrents and p2p. Because sure you can buy them, but there will be rampant plagiarism and Valve wants 75% of all revenue anyway. That isn't fair to the user OR the content creator.

And I see so much of it here recently, that I have been avoiding this place. Because instead of the constructive criticism I expect, I only find a bunch of self-righteous, pc-snobbery, that ends up helping nobody, just to make someone feel more important about themselves until the next chance to ridicule someone who is asking for advice.

Some people hate on this board for two very minor reasons 1. it isn't ASUS, 2. it is inexpensive.  I have the z97 sli plus which basically the same thing. Its great. Zero problems. MSI utilities are useful and not PIA bloat ware. PWM fan headers are well placed allowing easy access no matter where you mount fans/pumps. LGA 1150 socket kinda limits choice for cpus, but it supports haswell, and overclocks easy and stable.
 
The only difference between this board and mine is the sli plus has a third gpu slot(pci express 3.0). Which I kinda have second thoughts about, because of the law of diminishing returns. The performance increase from 2 gpus in sli to 3, is not as great as the increase from one gpu to two in sli. The only reason I didn't buy the krait is "Blue on Black" was playing while I was shopping, so, yeah....moving on.....
 
Bottom line: MSI has been making military class 4 hardware since the 90's, Asus only got on that train a few years ago. Most of the boards out there that say things like "gaming", or "hero", or "ranger" or "some other non-sense characteristic for a motherboard", really have few differences from a "value" board like this and should be renamed to "shameless money grab" edition. LMG did a video on this. Super simple bios center, one-button overclocking if you want to use it(I haven't), one button ram overclocking with xmp(i use this), and the glorious fast boot(oh yeah, i use this). Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Kowtow? Not Likely. How much do you know about this show? These three have a GLOBAL following, the likes of which no other show has. Viewed in 214 countries, with an estimated 350-400 million viewers per week. On for 13 years since the reboot. The waiting list to be an audience member is filled through 2023. This is not just the BBC's top grossing show, this is one of(if not the) the top grossing shows on the  planet. I can't even begin to imagine another show with those numbers. BBC is going to eat this, hard. The goose just gave up a truly Golden egg, and other networks are probably heating up their phones already.  If May and Hammond decide to leave, these three could take their pick of any network in the world and start their own new show.

A small hobby band saw works just as good too. Nice clean cuts in seconds....

I guess that's why Democrats still control the House and Senate? Or did they get booted for forcing us to go buy a product from a private company? Imagine how people would be pissed off if we were forced to buy 'internet' from Comcast or TWC yet that's what they did with medical insurance. But being forced to buy insurance from a private company is ok?
 
And anyone in the House can propose a bill. Doesn't mean the entire party supports that bill. The vast majority of bills never even come up for a general vote on the floor because they never make it through committee.

HKTS 200  Prepare for incredible. Zero bloom, tight bass. Gorgeous sound. Only 200$
 
SB 16   Incredible in a Soundbar. I don't know why these cost more - it appears to be the same satellite speakers as above, only in a bar. Shop around and see if you can find it for less on the 'net.
 
Sony Soundbars. Take your pick. These are really the value segment. Truth: the Harman/Kardon soundbars are the only ones I've heard that are marginally better than Sony, under 1000$. Yamaha makes one that sells for 7000$. But with a Starting price of 279$, if you really want a soundbar, these are the best bang for the buck. Loud, crisp, tight, no bloom, no brass.
 
Go to an electronics store that carries these and see for yourself. We didn't carry the flat, box-shaped thing with the "integrated" subwoofer, so I can't speak for it. But I can say, for little extra money, do yourself a favor and get something with a sub.

BTW: I really am kind of a big stereo freak. The speakers in my living room stand 34" tall and have their own built-in amplifiers. They're older, but nothing(and I mean nothing) can even come close to the sound they produce.
