  1. The problem is nobody has any backbone or their skin is thin as a Kleenex. You say one thing which might be misconstrued and they go all 4 years old on you - "I'm reporting you!", or they take the high and mighty approach "I won't report you this time, but don't let it happen again." Like I commented on this one guys glasses and he reported me - its a fact: the man is wearing glasses in his profile pic. The political stuff needs to be banned. That's just giving everyone an arena to direct their "I'm pissed off " at each other.
  2. I will always use Logitech mice - I am addicted to their patented hyper-scroll wheel. Besides, breaking one requires the same force of breaking a nokia 3310.

For most Logitech devices, if you destroy it through normal use, even hyper-use, you should get a badge. That's in the same league as breaking a Nokia.
  4. Brother hl2270dw. Laser-toner. Duplexer. Best thing ever for black and whites. Prints both sides. Runs out of toner about every 6-8 months. Was under 100$. I will never have another inkjet again - period.
  5. DON'T USE WATER!! Large deep roasting pan, or any tub shaped receptacle big enough to hold your keyboard. Isopropyl rubbing alcohol - enough to submerge plus one bottle to rinse with(squirt cap if available). Submerge keyboard in alcohol. Let it soak for 5 mins. It will dissolve the sugars and sticky stuff. Swish it around in there, and let it soak some more. Remove keyboard from Alcohol and test keys - if they are still sticking, let it soak some more. When they stop sticking, pull it out and rinse with alcohol. Do this by turning it on its end and Make sure to let alcohol flow behind the keys until it all runs out the bottom. Place under a fan to dry. Rubbing alcohol has almost NO water(ppm) and evaporates and dries much faster than water. Also dissolves sugars faster than water.
  6. Didn't mean to get under your skin, sorry bout that. But in truth, probably more than 40 times. As on the go as I am, I use the pack more than I use the wall. But I do think that the batt in my iphone is going....at less than 10% it dies, the as soon as I plug it in(wall or batt pack) it shows 10-15%.
  7. You want the D? the deal? Look on Amazon any day. They have 20000maH for around $40. I've had it for a year and a half. And my iphone is grateful. I only charge the pack once a month. I charge my phone daily. It'll charge my phone about 40 times on a single charge. And the built in led is magnified - don't look directly into it. Here's the new model. 22400maH for 38.99.here
  8. go logitech, they seem to never die
  9. if you got the dough - i7, both are lga-1150, so mobo won't matter. Yes you will want more than 8gb of ram to have all that open at once.
  10. If you can survive - wait for the holidays. Deals are going to be bed-rock low this year.
  11. My old lx300 wireless from logitech works fine.
  12. Hey guys, I just had a power surge. Lights flickered, power went out long enough to shut down computer. Power comes back on and I hit power. The screen about windows did not shut down properly comes up. I figure whatever, I'll just "start windows as normal." But it doesn't work. There's no response. I try the arrow keys, still nothing. The timer counts down and windows restarts as normal. Eevrythings fine. But, my G710. Does it not work pre-boot? Can I no longer hit "delete" during boot to go into bios? Am I missing drivers or something? EDIT: Yep. Just tried it. No response during boot. Can't hit delete to go into bios.
  13. Try resetting your psu. Turn off and wait for a minute. Unplug it from the wall. Wait for a few minutes. Plug back into wall and switch on. My psu does this when I have a surge.
  14. Wait.. You're from NB?! Nos fallamos Portuguesa? I used to live by the state pier. Awesome. Blessing of the fleet soon, and then the festivals in Mattapoisette. Anyhoo...The s340 from nzxt. Clean lines, still quiet. The define S doesn't have the sound dampening material of the case it replaces. The ps11....are you gonna have to look at it? I support the s340...its solid, and beyond fairly priced.
  15. Was just trying to help, not every person of German descent is a nazi. Proper punctuation just makes messages easier to read. Why does everyone feel the need to be so easily offended? "Doh! this person commented on my lack of punctuation, I'm going to call him a name!" What are you? 12? BTW-Grammar is not a part of writing. It's part of language, which is spoken. Spoken language doesn't have any punctuation or spelling, but it does have grammar. SOooooo...If you're gonna call me a nazi, at least use the right term- Punctuation Nazi. Thank you. Heil!
  16. First, learn about punctuation. Periods help. 2. Mail in rebates work, you just have to follow everything to a "t" and be patient, like Moses in the desert. 3. Your earlier post mentions water cooling, if you are planning on going that route, I would do the evga. Lots of water cooling mfr.s make full covers for evga cards. The ones from Alpha Cool are really sweet.
  17. MSI. I have never been so happy with a motherboard.
  18. ^^That said...You could be looking at an easy 500-800 dollars for custom loop for said system.
  19. Go to EK and use their configurator. And if you have questions, write a support ticket. Around here, you're just gonna get people to tell you that your idea is a "bad idea, waste of money, you bought the wrong mb/cpu, you bought the wrong gpu, etc." As for the posters above: how about not just shooting people down, but also offering to help...that way they don't feel like you're insulting them. Example: "I wouldn't water cool that cpu; but if I were to do it, here's how I would go about it....."
  20. It should still work. My old i7 - 920 had dozens of dozens of spots like that. Would probably still work today-if it wasn't on my keychain.
  21. looks urban hipster, not in this lifetime.
  22. If you want to do this to something like a mouse, I recommend a rotary tool at low speed, using one of their cotton buffers, and a very light touch. OR if you want to be SUPER CAREFUL, you could just put the cotton buffer pad(the flat circle one) under your finger and rub it back and forth to achieve the desired effect.
  23. I don't do "brushed" but I do flat, or "matte". Super simple - get fine grade sandpaper and scuff that glossy surface. Mask off the areas necessary. Plasti-dip your way to a beautiful, non-reflective, non-fingerprinting finish. (i have brushed finishes in my house that fingerprint like nothing else.)
