  1. What if I went with this case instead? It's around the same size (in terms of liters), and it's cheaper. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dM8H99/silverstone-case-sstsg13b microATX is a bit of a dealbreaker since I want it to be really small...ideally the case isn't any larger than 20-25 Litres. I don't mind paying a bit of a premium for smaller space unless the savings is enough for me to upgrade on graphics/cpu. I don't care about if the X is cooler or if the specs are cooler, i'm not that type of person . While the 3600X has a better cooler it does have more TDP.... unless there's a huge difference in temperature under load (which I don't think there is) then I don't think there is a reason to go for it. I don't really understand what your issue is with the motherboard though, what do you mean by light bios?
  2. Will it make a drastic difference in gaming performance though? I don't plan to overclock at all and 3600 just seems more like bang for the buck in this situation.
  3. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xhpmCL Just a 1440p build that I plan on doing, ITX to save space. If anyone has any ideas to reduce the price further but keep performance that'd be nice. Will probably plan to stream a bit as well. If there's a better monitor for same/cheaper price let me know but this was the best one i could find.
  4. Canada Max weight: As thin as possible Minimum battery life: 8+ hours Display should be touchscreen, and 1080p? That's the standard nowadays for most laptops so... 4K is ok but rather 1080 lol I essentially want the fastest notebook that is thin and has good battery life basically. I'll be using it for college and school and a bit of gaming on the side (osu, csgo, I don't want a discrete graphics card to go with this.)
  5. $1500-2000 it will be used mainly for university stuff at school, probably a bit of video editing on the side as well.
  6. Looking for a powerful laptop for school, i7 preferred. Would prefer light and long-lasting battery, and also good performance. Not sure which ones are the best out there since every brand nowadays has something (HP spectre, LG Gram, Asus's zenbooks, etc.) Right now I'm not sure when Intel's new 9th generation chips come out for laptop so... is it a good idea to buy it now or wait a few months down the road when the new chipsets come out?
  7. So today I just got home and my computer had a "Reboot and select proper boot device" message. Then I went to the BIOS and it turns out that my SSD (my boot drive) is not detected at all. I double checked the connections and everything. Could it be that my SSD died? Or are there other ways to fix this?
  8. Hi, I have an i7-6500U and a 940M laptop. I've tried turning down all the settings, bitrate, on OBS... but when I play osu + stream it still lags to 5FPS. Is there any way to stream osu with my current setup? If not, are there any ways to stream with my laptop then?
  9. When I try to change the metadata of some songs on Musicbrainz Picard, it's random. Some of the images stay, some of the images do not show up when I try to play it in VLC or any other media player. Even strangely still, said images still show up on Musicbrainz Picard, but not on any other media player. Is there any way to troubleshoot this or another software that will deal with the metadata without messing with the image cover of the songs? EDIT: When I load the songs onto my phone, it just takes one image and puts it as the image cover for all the songs.
  10. Bump, could someone help me please??
  11. Yea, it works fine with any other music player, but when I try to use Spotify with Local files some of the pictures don't show up if I change the metadata.
  12. Mp3tag screws with the cover image metadata, which is the issue. Musicbrainz picard still screws up some of the image artwork. EDIT: Musicbrainz Picard doesn't screw up with the images. The images work fine, but when I try to play them in Spotify (local files) it doesn't work. Some of the images are still black. Is this just Spotify screwing around with the cover-images?
  13. I tried using mp3tag, but then sometimes it messes with the cover images, sometimes it keeps it. Are there any other programs that handles cover images but also changes metadata?
  14. This isn't exactly "audio" related but I have a bunch of songs in my playlist. When I try to change the title/artist of one of them through Properties on Windows, the song image dissapears completely and turns into black. is there any way to avoid this? I've fixed that issue, now the issue is that when I try to upload Local Files to spotify, some of the images get removed, while some do not.
