I would lean more towards silent linears for quietness, but again as mentioned there are other aspects that can affect the noise your board makes while typing.  IMO most silenced tactiles (other than Topre) feel mushy/off due to the silencing in the stem/pole - In the end how much labor do you plan on putting forth in building a board, if you want to put in the time and effort then go the gambit with lubing, tuning stabs, and working on tuning the overall board.  in the end it's going to rely on your preference in feel to noise, not just most of us on this forum.  At home I have my NK65EE with Panda X's and love it, but at work I have broken in MX-Blacks since it is alot quieter (still need some case foam/filler to tune it further) over-all in the office environment.

Got that same board, but in white for my son (used JTK Rainy Day and NK Polia's I had sitting around).

I love my Model O, but I've been on a wireless kick lately for my mice (and want a Model O- size).  I use my G403 Wireless at work w/ the PowerPlay mat (highly underrated mat/system) and have fallen for having it wireless.  Now if CM were to launch the MM711 wireless, I'd be sold on it immediately.  Zy and CM really knocked it out on that MM710/711 series weight and case feel great in hand, and my 6yr old loves it over the Rival 110 I had for him before as he can grip it better - still big for his little hands but better and he loves how light it is.  They really are an underrated mouse since all the press/reviewers fell off on them since the initial launch was rocky (which the Glorious mice have been plagued as well) but knowing how many are made in a day there will always be some bad ones that squeak through QC.

    **Update 6-28-21**
So I ended up getting myself the Logitech G Pro x Superlight and a set of Corepad feet for it.  So far loving it over the past couple of months and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, sturdy, and obtainable wireless mouse (looking at you Final Mouse for making the Starlight unobtainium level).

    Smol Disclaimer:
'Chew owns a Mode Designs First Edition Eighty (Eighty #391, of the 450 × FE Eightys in existence ), so even though 60%s aren’t my market, I will still definitely be biased in Mode Designs’s favor. I enjoy their product and their atmosphere, and they left a very positive first impression when I interacted with them.

Friendos have commented that the SixtyFive is expensive, for a compact keeb at $299+. I can’t say that I agree with that statement, but I also don’t think my disagreement holds much weight (being biased and all).

To explain my perspective, the First Edition Eighty was $650 for me, but like the SixtyFive, offered an all-aluminum chassis, a mirrored finish for its bottom weight/chassis, choice of hot-swappability, compatibility with QMK/VIA for re-mappable layouts/additional layers/custom macros, gasket stack mounting, on top of being a limited-run product (only 450 made), being in-stock (not locked in a Group Buy or Pre-Order), and being in the custom TKL niche.

The Eighty (not First Editions) was priced at $480+, and offered all of the First Edition, sans the mirrored butt and limited run / in-stock dealio (it was Pre-Order), plus more colorways.

The niche bit is important, as there are significantly fewer custom TKL kits than compact kits on the market (especially in late 2020, when I bought my keeb), and, as a grossly simplified rule in economics, goods in the high demand but low supply category tend to carry higher price tags.

So, while the SixtyFive is probably more expensive than other all-aluminum, QMK-compatible compact keebs (KBDfans should have a number of competitive options), it is the most affordable keeb that Mode Designs has offered to date. I will concede that judging pricing between keebs with different form factors is a bit invalid, but the basis for that comparison is the SixtyFive takes heavy inspiration from the Eighty’s design. In my eyes, the SixtyFive is like the Eighty’s smaller sibling, so a comparatively lower price tag, on top of more versatile features (e.g. mounting styles, ISO layout, chassis), seems justified. Also, I’ve yet to see another compact keeb offering the sexy stunning mirrored finishes that Mode Designs does. 😎

This is a good video, At lest for Asus motherboards. Just blew my mind.

Video that might be pulled from this helped me figure it out. Normal person would never figure it out. Always trying to sell something. It's built into the CPU. Don't fall for it. Did that, Windows 11 can now be installed as per future proofing.

What Microsoft uses to check for compatibility.

My Asus laptop from q2 of 2020 already is compatible without BIOS adjusting. It's a Asus Vivobook. At least I figured it out. A little help from Handy Andy tech tips. LTT should also cover this. Only problem I can see is if the CMOS battery dies.

Honestly, if you have a decent quality SATA SSD right now and are on a budget, I wouldn't bother to upgarde.

If you wanted however, yes you can get an NVMe M.2 SSD.

    Welcome to the forum!

Honestly, the GMMK Pro is the best value for you money when it comes to a 75% hot swap. But it is not immediately purchasable. First batch of reservations (made in fall 2020) just shipped, and the ETA on normal stock is unclear.

In theory if you bought everything from GMMK they have lube and switches as well.

    In stock options:
    https://kono.store/collections/all-products-list/products/gemini-dusk
    https://drop.com/buy/drop-ctrl-high-profile-barebones-keyboard?defaultSelectionIds=948170
    https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/gmmk-tkl-tenkeyless-brown-switch

All these give up features that the GMMK Pro has, and are TKL, not 75%, I am also pretty sure none support 5-pin switches. Finding hot-swap 75% layouts in stock is very difficult at this time. Maybe others have recommendations though.
