  1. Looks like there is a chance it is plastic riveted through the plate to the case (where I marked are where the screws should be for a top mount)
  2. After going custom or along that quality, I will never go back to a Corsair/Hyper X/Razer board. Ducky/Filco/RealForce are the only mass produced I will still consider, but there are good inexpensive options out there that feel & perform better than most of the garbage that is hyped on the market. Personally, I would save for something top tier that will last over time.
  3. This is a known issue with Glorious too, they have yet to add clearance for stabs other than their own.
  4. I would lean more towards silent linears for quietness, but again as mentioned there are other aspects that can affect the noise your board makes while typing. IMO most silenced tactiles (other than Topre) feel mushy/off due to the silencing in the stem/pole - In the end how much labor do you plan on putting forth in building a board, if you want to put in the time and effort then go the gambit with lubing, tuning stabs, and working on tuning the overall board. in the end it's going to rely on your preference in feel to noise, not just most of us on this forum. At home I have my NK65EE with Panda X's and love it, but at work I have broken in MX-Blacks since it is alot quieter (still need some case foam/filler to tune it further) over-all in the office environment. Got that same board, but in white for my son (used JTK Rainy Day and NK Polia's I had sitting around).
  5. Current work layout.. the MX-Blacks in the DK9008G2 (OCN edition) are finally breaking in, soooo smooth now. Our internal IT team have asked daily if I could get them some Dogethink caps that I have on my board (I need to order more anyway).
  6. New Deskmat arrived a week ago and I finally took the time to open it -
  7. KBDFans, NovelKeys_, CannonKeys, etc - most of my suggestions are for more custom options.
  8. Stack v2 MacroPad w/ GothCaps Artisans:
  9. TPM 1.2 is allowed for those on baremetal vs prebuilts. Problem is HEDT Intel only started implementing this on 10***x series CPU's which are pretty much the same die since Broadwell-E (minus some internal arc tweaks over the years). So those of us on that class of hardware have to use work-arounds to get this to work. The TPM is not necessary in the end but right now they want to push it (during a hardware shortage across the world).
  10. ah didn't catch that, I noticed only 10 series X and related Xeon's are allowed which I find annoying since a majority is pretty much the same chip from the 7000 x series generation on x299 and the same die size even from Broadwell-E (which is what I'm running). But now that I know I can force a bootloader w/ the 21H1 loader and pull the wim from 11 onto it.
  11. MNPCTech should have something that will do this for you.
  12. And HEDT and TR hardware is not supported as well from my digging, but seeing the community is already finding work around a on this
  13. Thinking of building a deployment image at work, so no one has to worry about a dodgey source (going to pull the iso from win insider access or another reliable/trusted avenue)
  14. Hmm by this logic and instruction, I can use a deployment server I use at work that has the w10 bootloader and install the image by pxe install. Since it uses the initial w10 to load in then pulls the wim once you select install location etc. Going to have to try this or see if I can build an all-in-one solution to host to make the process easier for others.
