  1. I work at an Apple Repair Center, definitely going to need an S/N to look parts up in GSX. I can for certain tell you whether or not FRU's are shippable and whether the apple approved repair guide is available.
  2. Could somebody do what Linus did and capture an image for download? Would be a far more efficient way to deploy it for testing. I probably will try and do this with a Windows 10 EDU (Enterprise Featured) Edition and see what happens.
  3. Hello LTT Community, I'm planning on purchasing a laptop soon for college, which begins in September, but I want to hold off and wait for Skylake refreshes. Does anybody know from Intel or the OEMs when laptops will start shipping, refreshed with Skylake? My classes begin in early September, but I can always use a cheap laptop and just remote in to my PC at home. I'm particularly looking into the Lenovo X1 Carbon or T450s updated models, and of course they won't say anything about new models because they want one to keep buying the older models in stock, but I have noticed that their current models have been discounted which is a good indication that something is happening. I haven't purchased pre-builts in about 10 years, so I might be missing some signs that usually indicate a new refresh. Also, if anybody knows generally how many weeks it takes for the OEMs to put out new models after a processor release from Broadwell, Haswell, Ivy, etc, that would also help. If anybody knows anything, all help is appreciated. Thanks! -Mr.Quiggles
  4. Today's my birthday Linus! My username is mrquiggles on Vessel, and I'm glad content is free. Really looks that Lynda.com really helped out with the development, it has a great UI. My favorite video is #1: Insane Server Storage (I'm a networking, IT Guy and server stuff is something the average person doesn't see every day, although I work with it everyday) #2: Rear illuminated IO, I'm definitely doing that. Thanks Linus
  5. I'm loving my Nvidia Reference 970. If you want a card that looks beautiful, and performs well, without any crazy aftermarket Overclocks and Heatsinks, this is a good one for you. http://imgur.com/a/Q0X12
