  1. Thanks but keyboard is something I want to get right and not let it get into my excuse list for me to perform, but as Daniel said I'll experience it in person for the final verdict. Btw doens't it also come with touchscreen why didn't you buy that price or the hype? Wanna get ur thoughts. Cheers
  2. That's an awesome idea man will sure do that as personal experience, and btw where did you find out about the yoga perfromance I would like to dig deep if you don't mind. Cheers
  3. Yeah you'r right it's QHD+ not 4k, thanks for that. What are your thoughts on Yoga lineup?
  4. HI awesome LTT community, I am going to start my semester soon and I am looking for a new laptop which is specifically light and is powerful enough so it can last my whole degree. In the laptop keyboard is a factor for me. For comparison I currently have a ASUS-K55a and keyboard in that feels small and it's heavy asf. That laptop will be my main computer mostly doing programming. I am really hoping for a 1080p touchscreen but that almost seems impossible, as a programmer I don't foresee it but the only point I am going after is taking notes on touchscreen. Thoughts on touchscreen appreciated. 4k is too much and scaling sucks. I am not looking for high graphics, decent graphics is good. My budget is $1000 - $1500(max) I have been looking at XPS 13(expensive and 4k touch), Yoga 900(techrader says no pen input and shallow keyboard), Zenbook, Surface(keyboards sucks) and more. But I would love to hear from you guys as these things cost a lot especially in australia. And personal experience is far better anyway. Thanks badasses.
  5. Ok thanks man, I just google and saw this video shows it clearly. Cheers.
  6. I know it is that's why i am asking. AND NO at least I don't earn that much as you think otherwise i haven't researched and decided to save some money. Advice me anything if you can please.
  7. Can you explain a TN monitor and i am thinking on getting a gsync enabled or featured monitor whatever you say. so is it you know worth it. IF i get a nvidia graphics card. but still.
  8. Hello enthusiasts and part pickers, i am new to this community. I will really appreciate any of you's help to help me build or get built a gaming PC. The main question comes to me when i am trying to buy ALMOST anything on internet that they fucking don't ship products down under at this part of the world most of the time.SO that is a big one for me that's why anyone who is in australia and on this forum could help me build a new pc particularly i live in perth if anyone wants to be exact on price or anything. and i have tried the local but they are just so fucking expensive. don't know if it's worth it and as i have read the review of some of them i have found out that most of them don't have a good customer support and ad you might know that one is essential. These are some of them if anyone is interested. https://www.ple.com.au/ http://www.supertechcomputers.com.au/products.htm http://www.pugetsystems.com/contact.php http://www.netplus.com.au/ http://www.harveynorman.com.au/games-gaming-consoles/game-consoles/gaming-pcs I am a regular audience of ncix and Linus Tech Tips. so i have some ideas ok a tad bit more idea then general on pc, I am not near to enthusiast but this might give you a general idea. processors, coolers you know the usual. i haven't build a pc. i have changed tam's and graphics cards and i have gained confidence of building my own pc after trying to find a pre built online and the cost difference is just day and night. I think the process might be easy. The price To the main stuff. 1. Budget & Location Budget- $1500 AUD now i am willing to go to $1500 USD which is around $1800 AUD but i don't want to compromise performance. (hardly will go higher) The location is australia in case you haven't the read the stuff above. 2. Aim My aim is mainly Gaming. Farcry 4, crysis 3, Evil with in. (the new ones.) 3. Monitors I will need one. around 22" or kind or a bit more. 1440p or 1080p lower cost will be better. and if g sync or amd v sync(this might be hard to find but still.) 4. Peripherals SO here i might need your help should i just but a keyboard from local store around $20 and a wireless mouse. or should i invest a bit more like 50 and get something different or more premium Please advise me. 5. Why are you upgrading? i was living in laptop hell and trying to game there i only had 64MB of dedicated video memory. 6. Case Any can be good as long as the airflow is right i don't want anything fancy. at all it doesn't had to look pretty it has to work pretty. BTW i am not going to hold down on overclocking i will get the most juice out of that baby. but i am just afraid of doing watercooling. You guys think it might be easy because paying for a cooler and getting $100 plus performance on GPU and or CPU is a no brainier for me. Now i can go with AMD no problem some say it's not good. i know they are bot are just different. In shot i am not biased. I don't want ddr4 or any new processors. something cost efficient and performs great. I am not buying instantly i can even wait until January or February. Because i have seen some crazy price increase in this season i will post some screen shots from PC part maker have a look. Or i can just buy now cause i haven't really looked for prices whole year. SO thanks in advance guys. i really hope you guys will help me even if you are not from AUS. Tell me if you need any more info.other than my credit card numbers. Cheers.
